This restaurant forced me to pay for food I did not eat.
I had the worst restaurant experience my life in this place. My fiend and I went there to eat lunch on 7-May-2015. Although I eat Thai food a few times before, my knowledge of menu items is not great. Since I have intolerance to nightshade vegetables, I made sure that the serve knew that chili peppers and other hot spices were not added by telling him that I want the mildest possible Pad See U. The sever apparently put order for mild but with added chilli - one I could not eat. Apparently mild means add chilli but not too much - the server never told me that. It looks like I should have been Thai food expert before I dare to go there to eat. Come to find out that just ordering Pad See U without mentioning how hot it should be would have done the trick. They will punish you for their language issues.
The server started argument telling me that I told him to cook mild version and it does not matter what my understanding / his misunderstanding of my order. I am not sure what part of "mildest possible" is not clear to him. When he got tired of arguing with me with a high-pitch voice, he picked up and took my plate to kitchen. Then 1 minute later he brought it back the same plate pretending that he had changed it. It was very insulting to me that he would think that I could not discern that. But I told him that I know he did not change it. I did not eat my lunch, but I had to wait for my friend to finish his meal before we paid for both plates and left. I skipped my lunch yesterday, but I will never go back to...

The first time I went, we asked to be seated by the TV since the restaurant was completely empty. We were told this couldn't be done and no justification followed.
The second time I went with my vegetaraian friend. Half way through her meal she found a piece of chicken. The manager was condescending, asking my friend if she was sure it was chicken. She then took the piece into the back, examined it, came back and told us that the piece was indeed chicken but must have came from my dish. "Sometimes when you cut chicken it can fly over." My chicken was pre-cut. Then she indirectly told us that we were lying. She offered to comp it, saying "it's not our fault but I can take it off the bill." We paid the bill in full to prove that we weren't there to have our meal comp-ed. We only expressed our concerns to prevent future customers having the same issue and to help the restaurant do better.
She also told someone who asked about the status of his to-go meal, after waiting 20+ minutes, that this was not fast food and he can't expect the meals to be done in 10 minutes. So condescending and in front of the whole restaurant!!!
Needless to say I will not be going back. I thought this place would be great, having a "hole in the wall feel." The portions are small and the food is good but customer service was horrible! Also their health/food score was an 81!...

From the moment I stepped through the door, there was a welcoming warmth that set the tone for what would become a delicious, detail-rich meal.
As someone who appreciates the finer touches, I couldn’t help but notice the intentionality in the setting—from the utensils to the presentation, everything felt thoughtfully curated. The silverware alone added a hint of elegance that didn’t go unnoticed.
I started with a classic Thai iced tea, smooth and refreshing, followed by the tom yum soup infused with lemongrass. The flavor was bold, comforting, and perfectly balanced. Then came the main event: the shrimp pad Thai. And this is where the magic really happened.
When the server brought it to the table—beautifully plated—I could instantly tell it was made with care. Each bite was packed with flavor, perfectly textured, and left me wanting more.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment and every mouthful. I’m already looking forward to returning and exploring more...
