Wasabi House is a Dunwoody staple and truly does have something for everyone. If you love sushi, there is a roll for you. If you’d rather stick with kitchen food, you can’t go wrong with the bibimbop/stone pots or the bulgogi beef. The vegetables that come with hibachi entrees and other kitchen meals are always good too.

Wasabi House also does a great job of accommodating allergies or personal preferences you might have. If there’s something about a roll or entree you want to modify, it can be done almost every time. There are lots of options for vegetarians, and unlike other restaurants, they rival the regular meals for taste and preparation. Portion sizes are good and the quality of fish is outstanding for the price.

The new remodel has definitely improved the ambience and service speeds of the restaurant and makes it a versatile place to eat lunch/dinner, great for families (definitely kid-friendly), dates, or groups of friends. The booths are roomy and pretty private, and now you can order directly from the table (although you don’t have to - it’s also helpful to order seconds or just flag down a waitress on busy nights). Don''t go here. The north side of Atlanta has plenty of good sushi places and this is not one of them. There is not a sushi specialist at this restaurant. Ordered two appetizers and I have never been served such unappealing food. The seaweed salad was served in one of those generic shallow salad bowls with the blue ring around the top.
