I ordered a chai tea latte and because I wanted 2% she was going to mix 1% that was sitting out on the counter with whole milk. I don't know if it's warm or how long it's been sitting out, this was going to be an iced chai latte. Just because you're going to add ice doesn't make it better. The barista had a little bit of an attitude., So I said "just make it with whole milk please" Then I wanted her to shake the carton that the chai comes in. I got another eye roll, everywhere I've ever gone, they've always shaken the container knowing that flavor sits at the bottom... It's pointless to put things into a Shaker because that's not the same thing. The Barista proceeded to pour the mixtures into a picture. I thought that she was getting ready to steam so I said oh it's not warm, it's iced and then she said "I know" with an attitude and then she puts the milk and chai into a shaker. Are they clean? I question to myself but I can tell you that this chai latte doesn't taste that great. So now I'm going somewhere else like Rev. Coffee...and I won't be back.

Read moreSummit Coffee in Dunwoody, GA, is hands down my favorite coffee spot, and here's why! This place consistently serves up some of the best coffee in all of Atlanta, a true game-changer for my daily routine. And the pastries? Don't even get me started on the Gruyere sesame twist – it's absolutely divine!
But what truly elevates Summit above the rest is the incredible staff, especially Ellie. Seriously, ask for Ellie! She has this uncanny knack for instantly connecting with everyone, whether you're a first-timer or a regular like me. Even with the quick service, she always remembers to ask about my day, making every visit feel genuinely personal. It's that rare combination of top-tier coffee, amazing pastries, and a truly welcoming atmosphere created by people like Ellie that makes Summit Coffee an absolute must-try. Whether you're just visiting Dunwoody or you're a local, this is the coffee shop you need...
Read moreI was really excited to try Summit Coffee after a friend’s recommendation, and I even drove quite a distance to visit this location. When I walked in, I immediately thought the café was very cute and inviting.
Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing due to the service. When I asked Simone, the cashier, what was more popular on their menu—matcha or coffee—she responded in a rude and condescending manner, making me feel like I was asking a “stupid” question since, of course, matcha and coffee are different. I was taken aback, so I quickly said “never mind, I’ll just get a coffee,” but the attitude continued as if I didn’t know what I was talking about.
I left feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome, which was not what I expected after being so excited to try this spot. The atmosphere itself is lovely, but customer service is such an important part of the experience, and unfortunately,...
