This is the worst McDonalds ever. Unfortunately, this is the only one on my way to work. I am forced to stop here occasionally since it is open 24 hours and I work rotating shifts. I have been let down here so many times, it is incredible they are still in business. Even when leaving home 20 minutes early, several times I've had to pull out of the drive through line to avoid being late for work. There is absolutely zero effort to get the food to customers in the same time frame every other McDonalds on the planet can. I can write a chapter book on the stories I have about this place from over the years of stopping. Take this morning for example. I stopped here at 5:15AM and was the third vehicle waiting in the drive through line to place an order. After seeing the car at the speaker basically burn tire and leave out of frustration, I knew something was up. Now I am the second car in line from the speaker. The gentleman sits there for 5 minutes with no response from the worker inside. Finally he starts saying "Hello" into the speaker with no response. At this point I'm trapped because other vehicles have pulled behind me. Next the man starts honking the horn, still with no response. I notice cars behind me backing out and leaving so I back out also. I park my truck and walk inside hoping for a miracle of getting my food before work. I informed the person at the counter that cars were waiting outside to place an order. Without a care in the world, he tells me "Yea I should probably go let them know my headset is broke". My only response was to laugh in disbelief that this is the type of service you get here. And the best part of the story is instead of taking my order, or going to inform the people waiting outside, he walks over to the soda machine and starts filling it with cups. So once again I am forced to leave without getting my food. I am not the only one who is fed up with this Mcdonalds. I've heard many bad stories from other people. If you plan on going here during lunch hour, the weekends, or when Kennywood is packed, just make sure you cancel your plans for the rest of the day before getting in line. It's actually pretty sad that I keep giving this place...
Read moreI normally am not one to complain however this has been the worst McDonald’s I have ever been to. We ordered a few meals at 9pm, 2 quarter pounder meals and 2 cheeseburger meal, and a nugget meal. They mentioned that us and the two cars behind us were the last ones they were serving for the night. The ladies working the window were not very nice for one and not only that I had no idea if our transaction was over she didn’t say anything at all just handed us a bag of food and closed the window so we checked it as we pulled out and we were missing our 10 piece nugget. We go to pull around and they had wet floor signs blocking the drive thru so my mother gets out of the car to walk up to the window. The lady at pickup 1 didn’t bother to listen to a word she said and closed the window on her while laughing at her! I had to proceed to pull up next to the two cars that were originally behind us in the separate lane having to shout across saying that we didn’t get our nuggets.(we ended up getting them) all of our food came out all types of messed up, the 2 cheeseburgers with pickles on one and none on the other (did not ask for no pickles) and were so burnt that when I bit into them you could hear a crunch. The quarter pounders were not even a quarter pound it legitimately looked like a double cheeseburger and there were no onions on either of them. We tried to eat them but it was just so unappetizing. So not only we are out of 43$ we also didn’t get correctly made food. Other than that my sisters nuggets tasted good and the fries were good too. I’ve worked in fast food for 5+ years and honestly I have had my bad days as do everyone but I have NEVER not only treated someone like the way they did my mother, or even sent out food knowing how bad it is. If you wouldn’t eat it yourself then do...

Stopped in this McDonalds for ice cream and an ice tea. Drive thru was packed. However, inside had a family only waiting for their food to be prepared (already paid for it).
Five crew members are preparing food and are exclusively focused on the drive through. Received a few looks from them and nothing else. No "Hello" or "I will be right with you" was spoken to me. Only laughing and talking among themselves.
Ten minutes later, the family before me are still waiting for their food while another customer is waiting behind me.
No acknowledgement from the crew members to any of us.
The manager was requested and it took him a few minutes to get to us because he was making food as well.
Hey, KUDOS to you helping the crew members with the orders. Remember, in order to be successful at management you must first manage. Staying focused on one part of the business is not being a successful manager. You must keep you eyes open for customers at your drive thru and your counter ( reason for the counter is for walk ins).
You delegate the work to effectively run your business. Yes, babysitting is also involved when it comes to some of the employees. You know, keeping them engaged with the customers by greeting them by saying; "hello and welcome" or if you are trying to complete an order say, "I will be right with you, thanks for your patience."
Yes there are many McDonalds around and job security looks great for the company. However, poor performance at your store while you are working will not be enough to secure your position with the company.
So step it up!
That is...
