Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Durant

I came in on my lunch break and ordered a drink and a hotdog I got neither. I also had to wait in the stall for them to tell me it was my fault that my food was given away because I didn’t check into the correct stall even though my name was displayed on the screen. I also had employees belittling me within my line of sight as I try to explain to them I had a short amount of time due to having to be back at work after a 30 minute break. In my opinion 30 minutes was plenty of time to make what I ordered. The staff was unhelpful and frustrating asking me to repeat over and over the same information including my phone number at least five times. This is also not the only time I’ve been made to wait an extra 10 minutes for my food however I have not had a problem with waiting until now. I was late getting back to work because of having to repeat my information over and over again just so I could make sure I got my money back which as of now has not been done and I have not heard back from anyone. I used to work for the sonic in calera, that one, and both the ones in Durant and owned by the same person, I believe operated by others, but it's been a while so things could have changed. I would personally recommend the one in Calera the most, it's the cleanest and the most attentive, but for food quality and speed these days the one next to Walmart on west main is the way to go. The wait is never long, and it's always hot. In calera you are also getting food with everyone who goes to choctaw and stops by, so the rushes can get frantic, so you're usually stuck with things that have been held for a while. When I was working there I made sure everything on grill was cooked to order, but most things on the fryer are a different story.
