While we were in the mall my daughter and her friend wanted Cinnabon so I have her my debit card and they made a purchase. I was standing off to the side. My daughter told me the card would t work so I stepped up and the lady was trying to tap my card. My card did not have that feature and and I told her she would have to insert it. She snatched it back and said it didn’t work. She turned it around to her and then slid it and it worked. She was busy but she was very short and trying to rush me away: well after stepping away, I understood why. My daughter told me that the lady told them it was a MANDATORY 15% tip and that she didn’t have a choice. So I looked at the receipt. Yep, an automatic 15 percent tip.
