McDonald's — Restaurant in Durham

I am going to give two stars for the past. I used to love this place. The staff was very efficient and nice. Now they mostly hate their job.

Yesterday I went there, the drive through didn't move for almost 5 minutes. I go inside in time to hear the employees arguing. Only two people in front of me and I still could not have an order put in for 7 mins. The young lady at the register kept cracking that damn gum. Who does that in the front on the house?? They had no fruit and yogurt parfaits made neither. I left empty handed and went to Chick fil a.

Today, I tried again. Only to be told that they still did not have the parfaits. Why are they only taking cards and no cash? Preparation is dull here. I get to the register window and that lady was really nice, finally!! I get to the food window and ask the sweet little lady about why the parfaits are not being made. The manager tells her they will have some when they make them!! Really?? That is what you say to a customer!? That chick doesn't need to be a manager. If some has a problem with me saying "that chick," then you really don't know what is really going on in my mind. Just saying. Moving on, I get to work and open my sausage egg mcmuffin with cheese and find these heffas put white cheddar cheese on my damn sandwich. Oh I lost it. I called there to tell them how I really felt and this lady tells me they ran out of yellow American cheese. When in the hell were you going to tell me??

Worst store ever and if I could give no stars I would. A visit from a month ago, they were out of large cups and straws. A visit from 3wks ago, they didnt have any parfaits and I was parked for my food only to be forgotten about. A visit from yesterday, YES I TRIED TO GIVE THEM ANOTHER CHANCE, I only ordered a large coke that I waited at the window 5mins for so finally I called the number on the receipt to remind them that I was still waiting in DT for my order, the same rude male employee who took my order and card (because they werent accepting cash) is the one who came to bring me my drink but didnt apologize for my wait or say anything else, instead, he just closed the window in my face after handing me my drink. I pull up to see the manager outside smoking to I stop the car to inform him of what happens, he tells me to wait a moment, goes back inside and returns with a female employee who gives me two free meal cards but explains that they are short-handed. I dont truly care that they are short-handed, other businesses are short-handed all of the time, that doesnt justify a reason for forgetting that you have people waiting in DT. Then I emailed the feedback email located on the window 2x but havent received any type of response yet. Such a terrible store, poor management and the owner/operators clearly dont care and are never present since they own a ton of stores...

If I could give my experience one star I would.I usually love this Mc Donalds but my experience today has caused me to never visit here again. Please see below message sent to Owner of this franchise.

This morning I visited McDonalds on Tower Blvd in Durham NC Store# 11385 at around 7:41 am. I went through the drive thru( KS# 13 KVS Order 98). I ordered 4 biscuits and only received 2 biscuits out of the 4 I ordered. I then sent my husband back in to get the sandwiches we missed with the receipt. My husband stated when he went in to get the sandwiches the manager on duty this morning proceeded to go through the bag and taking things out touching every thing with her bare hands and then took one of the sandwiches an walked off then returned with the same sandwich not sure why she did this but he then wanted the hashbrowns replaced because they had been touched and taken out of the bag. She then refused and started arguing with my spouse and instead of replacing the order she refund all the money and told him have a good day and threw the food away. I then went in and approached the manager she ignored me and did not answer any of my questions on why she refunded my money and not just replace the food. she then threatened to call the police if we didn't leave. I visit this McDonalds everyday more then once and they have lost me as a customer. I need this...
