Yesterday I spent an hour trying to get my food. I used the app and ordered food. I stopped at the store before that to kill some time. Was about 10 minutes. I went to the parking lot to finish waiting. Which lasted about 15 minutes until the app told me it was ready. I waited in the drive-thru for about 5 more minutes. However, I get to the window. Food was still not done. This is about when the hour I waited, started. That's when I count it at least. I receive a bag, and in the excitement to finally get food. My partner and I left and didn't check. We lives withing a few minutes of there. We check and it's the wrong food. Went back and told them. That took all of maybe 10 minutes. I was able to speak to the person at the window. Who was very kind and helpful. In fact, there was only ome person who made it all much worse. For myself, the staff, and other customers. The manager who then proceeds to just yell and try to figure things out about why the wrong order went out. Stopping a lot to yell about the issue and tell her how she is wrong. The rest of the time. Was spent waiting and watching. The plethora of people who waited. Talking to others who had complaints. One guy said he was already waiting 20 minutes for 3 tacos. Many other people as well. I saw one lady leaving. She had been waiting for some time as well. When she asked about her food and why other people got theirs first. When they ordered later. She was then yelled at by the manager that she was wrong and needed to wait. Made up some stuff about the system bumping her order then changed it and said it was deleted. She just left angry. Manager was helping with orders some, but not with people. Just yelling how everyone needs to just wait however long it took. The frustration of being short staffed was being taken out on customers. During all of that, someone who does food delivery, mentioned how the exact same thing happens every single time he goes there. I finally asked how long mine was going to be. As I too saw people coming and going. Apparently, management didn't think mine was priority. Was told to put it on hold and wait until they were out of the weeds. Luckily, the woman at the window was kind enough to make it be sooner. I do not fault the rest of the staff. I saw them busting their butts. She was doing more complaining and yelling, than helping. This was a much better location some time ago. I have had not so good experiences 2 more times before that. Shame on me for giving it one more chance there. Come to think of it. Last time I had an issue. The same manager, yelled at us, about an app order. Claiming we went there too quickly and needed to wait and the order had not come in. Once shown on the app that it was shown as ready. Then it suddenly was remembered. It was that it went out to someone. If I was not as calm of a person as I am. I would berate if I were the type. I prefer to use wit and sarcasm. Rather than yelling like a...
Read moreI unfortunately witnessed one of the most outrageous & rude customer service experiences in my life. A woman who received her order checked her food after picking it up to learn she was missing an item. Her nachos were not in the bag, so she kindly reported this to the nearest team member. After the team member explained that the restaurant was out of nacho chips, the customer asked if they could still make the bowl with all the available ingredients minus the chips. This was relayed to the young lady on the food line. This team member came over to the customer and said with an attitude “you could have told me that before I made it.” Shocked & confused by this response to her request as if we the customers know the inventory count, we were all in the lobby looking around lost as to why this was the energy being presented to the customer. Needless to say it escalated further. Rude language was exchanged until the manager came out and asked what was happening, and when the customer explained that the young team member was being extremely rude, she was met with yet another attitude from the manager who in a nasty tone said “well next time ask for a manager don’t talk to her, she’s a minor.” Things did not calm down. The customer was so disappointed and confused as to why everyone was talking to her with such negativity, that she began to shout more and ask how she was in the wrong in this situation. As a witness I can attest to her kindness from the very beginning and I saw the entire exchange. It got to the point where the manager walked away from the customer and said “now I’m not making you anything!” & further fussed about how the original rude employee was a minor as if her age excused her lack of customer service in a role that SHOULD require basic service etiquette. I have most of the exchange in an audio recording because I just could not believe the way it went. Needless to say, this could have been taken care of with a simple “I apologize, I’ll talk to my team member about her tone & choice of words, let me get your nacho bowl ready. Thanks for your patience.” End of the discussion, boom. Seeing that it was the complete opposite of this was discouraging and I definitely will...
Read moreDate: 05/08/24 Time:1517 The manager currently working your drive thru is one of the most unprofessional employees to date. Not only is this female rude. After I waited for a few minutes to place my order which was a burden for her to step away from her “designated area/Drive Thru” to help a paying customer to begin with. She walks up to the register and takes my coupon. Her employee asks me if I want my taco supreme in which I replied yes and she told me “not to do that” and I said can I not pay the difference and she said nuh uh don’t do that asking me NOT to speak to her employees after I was spoken to first. She refused to simply charge me for added sour cream and tomatoes because it “clears itself out” like she couldn’t just add that to my bill so after I ask her to inform me as to why I can’t pay for what I want which I’m able to do at ANY OTHER TACO BELL IN NORTH CAROLINA she simply refuses to hand me my receipt or my drink that I set my phone to Apple Pay ready to tap whenever able to based off her actions of course . I ask if she’s the manager and she walks off then mumbles something in an almost drunken stupor. It was great. Even her employees thought she was irrational. The manager managed to spit something off about how she’s been in the drive thru all day and she’s had a bait. Ma’am if you’re that stressed you need to find another profession. This is your job and you represent your employer at all times and to say this was insanity and a terrible representation of Taco Bell would be an understatement. I’ll NEVER stop here again. Keep handing out free food and drinks Mrs Manager! Have a nice day and God bless that woman.
Side Note: The lady in this photo was the only one nice enough to act as if I existed in this establishment. Give her a raise and I’ve never been...
