I like this restaurant but my daughter does not care for it too much. Currently my go to for Chinese during the week. They are currently closed on Saturdays.
The food is pretty good, but can get a little expensive with add ons. My go to is the vegetables with garlic sauce with veggie fried rice. My daughter likes sesame or orange chicken. The main reason she does not like it much is the sesame and orange chicken that she has order is dry, on multiple occasions, despite asking for extra sauce when ordering.
Usually my orders have a decent amount of veggies, unfortunately when I decided to review the restaurant, it looks like the skimped on the veggies.
For an upcharge you can get lo mein or veggie fried rice instead of the usual rice fried with pork. I also pay an upcharge for egg drop soup instead of the egg roll that comes with the combinations.
Pros: They have lunch specials so it saves a little money. Bottled sodas are available. They have pretty quick service. If you call in or order in, you can make modifications that you like. Online ordering is currently available through GrubHub. Serving sizes are decent so you can stretch an order into two meals or share if needed.
Cons: It is in a busy location so sometimes getting into the parking lot and actually parking can be a pain (especially during lunch). Online orders offer limited options/modifications. The sauces always leak and make a mess in the bag so I recommend putting the bag on the floor of your car if...
Read moreI really had higher expectations for this place. I ordered the sesame chicken combo and boneless spare ribs combo off the lunch menu. So to start, the fried rice was very blend, literally just rice fried in oil with soy sauce and a scrambled egg. Personally, I thought it was a standard to at least add some mixed veggies, so I was disappointed there. The ribs themselves weren't terrible, but the best I've had but far from the worst. The sesame chicken on the other hand, dry and tough. I thought maybe it wouldn't be so bad if there was enough sauce on it but whatever sauce they did add had been soaked up by the breading by the time I got to it (about 20 mins). And lastly, the service was good. Only thing, and a bit of a knit-pick, is the lady at the counter didn't offer sauce with the food. So for it to be that dry and bland, the duck or soy sauce...
Read moreMe and a group of co-workers tried this place out. I mean on a starving stomach been working in the heat at the air port all day. Our order consisted of fried rice that was black looking, stale French fries, the honey wings had this nasty watery sauce around it. The egg roll had a nasty after taste I'm like why all this food is expensive and nasty. They should be begging people to eat it. FYI JUST DONT DO IT TO YOUR STOMACH. PING PONG IS BETTER AND THEY ARE OFF Miami blvd too. Besides the food being nasty and causing me to get sick they were very rude terrible customer service over the phone she stated I could get our money then when I got there different story, all she had to do was say no in the first place. Just don't waist your time or...
