I gave the service part a five star because of the server they have working there. She’s amazing but as far as everything else, the wrong person is managing, tall, male manager, that never smiles and isn’t very friendly… That definitely doesn’t want to be at work at least.. The male manager sorry I should’ve remembered his name, but I did not plan on writing this review. All I wanted to . Anyhow, the manager at this particular location sadly to say he’s horrible at guest services it’s been a few times we have visited there and at least two of the couple of times on 2 different occasions I had to speak with him and both times you can clearly see walking over he had his mind made up on how he feels about particular customers.. and I have to add the only reason for coming back to this area is because of the convenience. Otherwise we will not stop here at all. At this location. the food at this location isn’t very good I’m not sure why but I kinda like to have the same meal a few times if it was good well for the first time I ordered the bourbon steak and shrimp it was super bland the wonderful waitress asked how it was I did tell her not to complain but to let her know what I thought well, I guess she told the manager he comes over by surprise and I look up and he’s got his look on his face like he just feels that I’m complaining just to get something for you or something. I don’t know, but you can kind of tell so I go well I’m not trying to complain. I was just letting the waitress know what I thought of it and she went and got you and he said what was the problem I said I don’t know if it’s called the bourbon flavor or what but it doesn’t taste very like I’ve had it before bourbon like and I started laughing because I couldn’t get the wording out correctly and he said OK and then stare at me and I looked up at him and waited for something and he said well I’ll bring some seasoning to the table for you in a cup. My mouth dropped OK and walked off and then later seasoning came and he walked up again. I was very very surprised that the way he handles things and then there was another time. I left my wallet. I offered to leave anything and everything until I run and get it. He looked over at my friend whom I took out to eat because the guy was homeless and said he can’t pay and I explained that he was homeless and I was treating him. I had to figure out how to get this money over and some nice lady help us out because he was not buying any of it. I was in tears and we’re talking the half-price menu for two people who got like four dollar meals like I said he’s got his mind made up about people and that’s his bottom line. He’s not a fair or nice guy at all. He’s just sat in his ways and that’s it. He must’ve had bad experiences. I don’t know, but he’s in the wrong position, but there is a lovely server there that we love so much she deserves the biggest tips ever I can’t remember her name but she’s just so lovely. I will remember and I will update it. Thank you....
Read moreWe were here last night and was very dissapointed with the service. We normally visit the Bloomington location on Southtown because the staff there are always friendly and service is prompt eventhough it's farther but we are happy with the service. Last night we decided to go to Eagan location since it's only a mile from where we live. We just got off our flight and was starving and wanted to be closer to home. For appetizer we picked the spinach & artichoke dip, we waited for a while and the waitress came back to confirm we wanted the spinach/artichoke dip as it slipped her mind. She did say sorry that she forgot and we were understanding about it so we waited and waited and appetizer never came so we called the attention of another lady so she grabbed the appetizer from the kitchen and brought it to us without an apology. We can tell the appetizer sat in their kitchen for a while because it was already cold. Our waitress came few minutes later and asked if we want our entree served together with the appetizer. We were taken aback by that question we have been waiting for our food and now you want to ask if we want it together with our appetizer? Uhmmm...Yes! We told her we're starving and she said ok. We waited and waited, the entree never came so we decided to cancel the order and left. She wasn't even apologetic about it. Her facial expressions is just not what I expect from someone who fell short of customer's normal expectation. The host asked what the problem was and we told him about, I appreciate that he apologized about it. The waitress then proceeds to say the food is ready and she can box it for us, still with that unpleasant facial expression. We declined the offer and left about 11pm. We ended up in Taco Bell since it's the only one open although we don't like fastfood specially taco bell. Whatever is going on in that waitress life, whether she doesn't like her job or have some personal issues going on, I...
Read moreMy experience was shockingly horrible! First, we put our order in and we we waited a long time maybe 25 minutes. Then the manager came and told us the order was accidently not put in the system so he just got it in so we had to continue to wait. He said he'd give us half off for the wait which was decent. I got the all u can eat deal which I had a week prior and I shared with my 5 year old daughter and it was fine but this time the waiter said i can't share with her. which is crazy to me because she's a toddler not a grown woman. So I ordered my daughter an appetizer. When we finally got the food my toddler took a FEW bites of my mashed potatoes. My 3rd dish I ordered shrimp and my daughter had 1 of my shrimp and my friend who also ordered the all u can eat gave my daughter 2 of her shrimp as well. When the waiter came back I asked for 1 more shrimp dish and she said "actually my manager said I can't serve u anymore because u were sharing" then she proceeded to ask my friend next to me "but would u like a refill"? Me and my friend were appalled that they would refuse to serve me because my toddler had a few bites and then the waiter had the nerve to continue to offer refills to others around me like I'm not there anymore! And she didnt even cut my friend off, just me. Does that mean the waiter was watching me to make sure I didn't give my child any food then told the manager? I'd understand if it was 2 adults sharing trying to skim the bill but if my 5 year old asks for a bite am I supposed to tell her no I can't share with you?! I will not be going back since sharing like 4 bites of food with my 5 year old child resulted in me not...
