Update: 1/20/24 I was finally up early enough to get my usual with my favorite Chipotle dressing YUM and I had a chance to look around while I waited, this store is in a DESPERATE need to be cleaned behind the counter. The pop machine had rags underneath it, the water filters supplying it are covered in calcium deposits & who knows what else & so are the lines to and from. Under the coffee brewers that didn't look too clean either, are some drawer things with supplies & paper labels on them that look like they've been there since the place opened, some of them you can't even tell what was written plus whetever else was wrong back there. The entire area needs a good cleaning & sanitizing, you're working with food for the love of God!! The fact that this is all visible to the customers is disgusting and why no one has bothered to clean ANY of it is beyond me. What really concerns me though is if it's like that where I can see it, what's it like where I can't see things? 🤔 🤢 I'm not sure if I want to go back no matter how much I love the food.
Original post: The employees for the most part are very nice but can get frazzled when they're swamped, but who doesn't. My only complaint is they don't stay open late enough! I know they open really early but they are missing out on the dinner crowd & most times I don't have time to stop by before work in the morning. The best thing...their Chipotle Mayo!!! Read moreMy experience this morning with how the General manager of this particular store treated was absolutely abhorrent. The dude acted and talked to me like I was a complete disservice to him the entire time dealing with him. He thought he could continue taking advantage of me and mistook my soft-spoken tone of voice as being weak or soft, as he repeatedly talked down to me in a very harsh, abrasive, condescending, disrespectful tone of voice. Until I put him in his place and shut him down reminding him who the customer was and that you don't ever dare talk to me in that kind of tone. This hasn't been the first time with him as well, as I am a repeat customer. What is even worse is, he has ZERO humility whatsoever. He continued to make excuses and justifications for his behavior and displayed a real smug, arrogant look on his face towards me while both of my bagel sandwiches were in the toaster. The GM of this store knew he was an embarrassment to the store as he had to watch what he was saying because other customers were int the store as well as co-workers. Read moreI had not been in a BB for years and their bagel breakfast sandwiches were good, from what I remembered; However this visit was overcrowded, and busy. I had asked for my egg, sausage and cheese bagel extra toasted, and even the lady making my sandwich mentioned that she would toast it before and after, which she failed to do and it was about getting it done fast. No effort to make sure the customers instructions were followed and no attempt to correct mistake.
Also, I did not know about an extra charge for "premium bagels,"so I got charged an extra, .$0.60 before taxes. What ticked me off the most, was, as the cashier was ringing me up, she mentioned "on a premium," and did not even bother to apologize for not toasting it extra like I had wanted; because the bagel was to mushy since it was not toasted enough.
I work in hospitality and food industry as well, still they had plenty of staff working in a smaller space so, there was no excuse for not taking the few extra seconds to make sure the customer left satisfied. Probably won't be back at a BBagles...
