Ordered yesterday from this location a $12 dinner box online, which I've never tried. Last time I ordered last summer from DT Minneapolis (which I lived in DT up until 3 months ago) location a more expensive order, requested not to be burnt online not only was it burnt but skimpy on the extra toppings I paid for and the manager was rude and unwilling to do anything about it, as well as order was late and driver was rude.
Got the food in less than 1/2 an hour, while I had to compromise on toppings as my boyfriend doesn't love veggie toppings and loves pepperoni but the pan pizza was perfect in crust as I love soft and doughy (don't mistake that as it being undercooked which it wasn't) , with a ton of yummy sauce and cheese and while I'm not a breadstick fanatic, they were not burnt and well made for those who love it and in my case where I do like the cinnabon minis which arrived burnt in past above mentioned order from hell(but have had before well made) however the cinnamon sticks which I have never had before were delicious and even with light icing I still got the flavor profile and taste deliciousness of of them similar to the minis, which my boyfriend loved too, without having to pay extra for the cinnabon minis.
Because of my last experience and usually ordering from Dominos in the past (both Eagan and DT locations were wonderful) also liking Davannis in DT and Eagan, liking Old World in IGH to eat at, I didn't have high expectations for this order and I was delighted that they were way exceeded in food, super friendly driver and arrived quickly.
I am a picky (but not unreasonable) but polite customer, I am so happy I was able to find out how good Pizza Hut can be, especially given how affordable it is and it was plenty of food even though we really didn't eat the breadsticks for 2 people, without them.
While I'll write a critical review, to help others, it was a pleasure being able to share how great this experience...
Read moreMy initial gripe was placing an order for delivery twice but getting called that they have no delivery drivers. I was compensated for this by luckily not having to try and call the store. The number either routes to a call center or continues to ring and ring. Then on my third attempt I went in for carryout which makes me incredibly uncomfortable right now as I'm pregnant and trying not to get sick. The cinnamon rolls were burned and the boneless wings were hardly tossed in their sauce. I believe this was made by the man in flannel who seems to always be running the counter and I think his name is Andy. I was again compensated for this. My fourth attempt I decided to try curbside contact less. After 20 minutes of waiting after the ready time I tried to call but again it just rang. So I tried to wait until the lobby was clear to mask up and head inside. My interaction with Andy went poorly. I explained I was upset that no one tried to call me to let me know I needed to wait longer. I had no clue if my food was sitting there getting cold. And I didn't want to go in currently at risk. He claimed it wasn't done (I could see my wings done and up in the fryer basket and the only other thing was a small cheese pizza) and they were too busy to call. I pressed I didn't want to come in and Andy walked away. Originally I turned to the door but decided to cancel my order. Not worth getting bad food after that or getting compensated yet again. Unfortunately I had to shout in the restaurant to get the third employee I had seen at the store to come from the back to refund my order. If there are 3 people there how couldn't one call me? The black bearded guy who helped me with a refund wasn't sorry or overly friendly but he wasn't as...
Read moreOne of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. They route the delivery through DoorDash most of the time which means they usually have absolutely no change. Today my order was missing the drinks. I gave the driver the money and pointed out my two drinks were missing (which is $8 worth of beverages). He said I’m so sorry I’ll be right back. I was a little frustrated but at the end of the day it wasn’t a huge deal to wait another 15 min… 30 min go by, he never came back. I try to get a hold of the store and it just routes you somewhere else where the phone rings and hangs up on you. Finally got a call from door dash saying “you’ll have to call the store and we can’t help you.” Try to call the store again and same thing. I finally had to call and act like I was ordering a new pizza to get someone on the phone. After explaining the situation to her she said she would transfer me to someone who would help; i sit on hold for another 7 minutes. As I was about to get in my car to drive to the store (which defeats the point of delivery), someone finally came on and after explaining to him what happened he said in a monotone voice "we're very sorry for that, we'll send the drinks now.". I inquired if there was anything he'd be willing to offer as its almost 2 hours after i ordered at this point. He said no they dont do that. He finally agreed to throw in an extra drink. Since he sent the drinks out through door dash again, even though the bill for the drinks was comped I obviously tipped the second driver as it was not there fault so I actually spent more on an order that was messed up in the first place. I will never order...
