I have been a loyal fan of Red Savoy's pizza since the times I used to make the trek North on Highway 52 to the original Red Savoy's pizza in St. Paul (now closed).
Thankfully, the Eagan Red Savoy's is carrying on in the tradition of great Minnesota pizza! Their pizzas are usually lighter on the red sauce, crispy crust, and loaded with toppings. The pizza I ordered online for pick up last night was IMMENSE, and must have weighed 5 lbs, no lie! I also had a coupon for a free order of wings. The wings were just "ok", not very exceptional in any way. See my photos.
But the pizza was incredible, hot and ready at the time I requested it. Sometimes, I do go a bit crazy with the toppings, which does add up in the overall cost, so be careful with that. The sauerkraut is an awesome and unique topping addition, though! With beer, it's....... hmmm.... "yummy". LOL
Access to the Eagan location is easy, and just across the street from the Home Depot in Eagan. Staff is always super friendly and awesome overall. Red's deserves my...

Everytime I order a Cheese, Pepperoni or Pepperoni+Sausage my pizza has been nearly perfect. Well cooked throughout balanced pizza finished perfectly every time
Whenever I have ordered off their premade "specials" menu, which are (over)loaded with toppings -- the pizza has been 1-star EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
The problem is that there are so many toppings that the top, that the pizza can't cook properly throughout before the cheese melts. What you end up with is a bunch of undercooked veggies and a soggy undercooked crust... which gets worse after it gets cut and leaks it's half cooked liquid all over.
Like I said at the top, after I switched to 'simple pie' the results have been exceptional to the point where I look forward...

I been doing this for a few years now, and of course this year 2021, I was unable to take a pizza back home to Kansas. If I could give a 0 for reviews I would. I enjoy this pizza so much and I bring it back home to Kansas for my other family to enjoy as well.
I am unsure when the policy changed, but they can not freeze a pizza for you to pick up in a few hours anymore and unsure why. As early as last year I was able to do this with no problem and not this year, I get from 2 different stores, oh we don’t do that or we have NOT done that in years, REALLY? Looks like this is NOT the spot I will come to again for pizza anymore. Savoy’s pizza is NOT accommodating at...
