Mo' Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food — Restaurant in Eagle Mountain

Update from previous rating. Decided to try location again as well were getting kids food nearby. This time still seems to be less food and they completely neglected put any of my chicken in there. Only ended up with half my meat. Ordered online and made the mistake of not checking before I left. Done with this place. Unless looking right at them, have zero confidence that my order will be accurate.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. First time going to this location and did not have the same experience as I have at other locations and markets left disappointed. I've gotten food from four other locations. My wife did a call in order. We did not get any mac salad despite both take out containers said mac. The meat portions seemed to be less as well. Mo’Bettahs nails it every time. The food is fresh, flavorful, and has that home-cooked Hawaiian comfort you can’t fake. The teriyaki chicken and kalua pig are tender and perfectly seasoned, and don’t even get me started on the mac salad, it’s addicting. Portion sizes are generous, and the plate lunch setup makes it easy to mix and match favorites.

The vibe in the restaurant is just as good as the food. It’s clean, welcoming, and you feel the aloha spirit from the moment you walk in. The staff is always friendly and quick to help, and even when it’s busy, they keep things moving smoothly.

I’m super bummed about my experience. I placed an online order. When I showed up it wasn’t ready which wasn’t a big deal and I didn’t mind waiting. The problem was that I waited for food that was cold and extremely skimpy. I ordered chicken and steak and I didn’t get enough steak to even feed a child. The steak I did get was in bits and mostly fat. I only live a few minutes away and since they packed it while I was in the building I just assumed it would be warm but unfortunately it was very cold. The only thing that was warm and good portions was the rice. I was really excited for this new location but it just didn’t live up to the expectations.
