Food is a hit or a miss. For me consistency in a fast food restaurant is a big selling point. Ate here a few times with my wife because she was craving American Chinese food. Ordered the same dishes, but was one perfectly seasoned and one was under seasoned. I think if the chefs/cooks had a more standardized way for cooking so the food is consistent then it would bump the overall food quality of the restaurant. Purchased 6/27 at night (well seasoned food) and 6/28 in the afternoon (under seasoned food) and the food felt like it was from two completely different restaurants. Got the orders wrong twice as well. Which is not a big deal for me, both times we ordered fried rice and did not get it. If the kitchen is busy I get that things can be missed, but it would be nice to have that quality control factor. Someone at least double or triple checking the order to make sure it is as requested.
Service is good and so is the atmosphere.
FYI 5 stars is reserved for perfect restaurants and so far only an handful met that criteria. Those restaurants have won awards for either their food or service.
Overall decent food, but they have room for improvement. At 3 stars it means it’s good, but it’s not something I would go out of my way and drive more than 30 minutes to eat with the current inconsistent taste and minor...
Read moreMy family and I love Panda Express we eat it in nW Arkansas. I was traveling in the area (Eagle Pass) and spotted Panda Express around 9 pm I asked if the lobby was opened staff said no only drive thru. (Other customers were being let in the lobby) we still ordered through drive thru. A lady named Ivana took our order and I had 6 orders we are a family of six. I told her there will be six orders she said okay. But every time I finished with one individual order she asked is that it and she said pull to the first window. (I was not done with half the order, additionally there was no fried rice and several entrees) we pulled up the first window we paid in cash. She gave us our order. (We had three entrees of teriyaki chicken we did not get out teriyaki sauce) we knocked on the drive thru window and we were sitting in our car for ten minutes then a different lady asked if she can help I told her I was missing teriyaki sauce she gave us two packets. We ate our food in the Panda Express parking lot, I needed to use the restroom and the staff locked the doors. I am disappointed with this location...
Read moreWhy is this place so skimpy with their food? I ordered beef and broccoli the other day. The person serving me was literally going to give me 3 pieces of soggy broccoli and scraps of broken meat that looked like canned dog food from an old bowl sitting under the heating lamps. I genuinely felt shame come over me ask I asked the employee to dump out that sorry excuse for food and serve me from the fresh batch. It was irritating to see how people can be that way and expect for people to enjoy their food and pay full price for it when it’s literally garbage! Most people will stay quiet and get what their served even if it’s scraps. Not me, I probably won’t even visit this location again. I would much rather travel out of town to get the same food they have here. Even then I’d probably choose P.F. Changs or even mall food court Chinese...
