Last night 6/24/25 We came here right before closing to get ice cream. The store was still open and serving customers inside, and the door was unlocked. which means we should be allowed to get ice cream. Not my fault; you guys didn't lock the doors. anyway, the people in front of us were halfway through their order when this teenage girl rudely just cut them off! I couldn't believe it!!! its one thing if we walked in and they just said their closed and we leave, but to stop serving someone mid-order is so unprofessional. All the food places I've worked at, and I would never do that to someone. The family only got half their order leaving some kids with ice cream and other kids without! How could u do that to little kids in the middle of summer! Then the girls behind the counter trying to fight w the customers talking about "we don't get paid after 10" HUHHHH sorry but whoever is managing this place needs to be paying their employees until they clock out and needs to teach their employees that customer satisfaction comes first. it was so rude, and there was definitely a better way to go about this but cutting a family off mid-order and then yelling at the customers for being frustrated is wrong. The girls behind the counter thought they were in the right! And I feel them I know what they mean, and that they want to go home, but no matter what job ur working u have a job to do and its to satisfy the customer. this was so unprofessional and I would never treat any of my customers like that. keep in mind I am also young and I know when customers are in the wrong, but this family was not doiong anything wrong. these girls r stuck-up brats who don't understand the work ethic. The time is 9:50 pm , as we walk into the store a group of approximately 7 or 8 people are standing in line to be served with ice cream. After the employee serves the first two people in the group she stops everything locks up the freezer and announce that they are closed for the night and she wouldnāt serve the rest of the group including our party. Mind you there are kids in the group who are eager to get their ice cream, but no not tonight. The employee is asking everyone to leave the store since they are closed and sheās not getting paid for her extra time there. Everyone is now very upset leaving the store with a verbal promise that they will never go back again. As a business owner in the service industry I would NEVER EVER turn a customer away when heās already in my store and in the middle of him getting his order served. That employee should immediately be fired!!! Business owners work so hard to make and keep a good reputation for their businesses and here comes an idiot whoās ruining it all for them. I wouldāve just scooped the 3rd scoop onto another cup to make it a āsingleā scoop to make her feel better. I mean honestly itās the same thing, if anything Iām being environmental by saving a cup but whatever, so she couldāve rung it up that way and I couldāve used my discount off a double scoop but she wanted to be difficult by saying she couldnāt do that.
