I went in it was empty. Maybe like 3 tables occupied. The waiter came up to us and said how many instantly. No greeting or anything. She sat us at a table. I asked for a booth but she said since I had the stroller she can’t sit us at the booth. Mind you I’ve been there about 20+times and I’ve NEVER had to sit at a table before even with the stroller. In addition it was empty so there would have been no issue to sit at a booth because she could have easily had plenty of space. She took our drink order and walked away. Then I heard her and her manager talking about the stroller and how they wouldn’t bring strollers into restaurants. If it weren’t for my mom coming with me I would have made a big deal about it but I kept my calm and cool in respect to my mom being there. We were also very disappointed about the food. Our hash browns were SO dry. Unfortunately, since customer service was poor I will not be returning and I will recommend people with strollers not to even go in. There’s MUCH better places to go than here. Yes, the food is cheap but I guess it’s because the service is TERRIBLE. Also not to mention there was no music, it was quiet as a mouse and the waiter was playing music on her phone as background music. How professional!! If you do decide to go please request a different waiter other than the one I had who had a bunch of piercing on her ear maybe mid 30’s. I also did hear her taking someone else’s order behind us and he wanted something specific and since it didn’t come with his combo she said”no you can’t have that it’s not included” so rude. Maybe she was having a rough day but your better off calling out or staying home then bringing that customer service to your job especially when your job is all about customer service. I usually don’t like to write negative reviews but the way she acted...
Read moreMy recent visit to Denny's with my aunts and uncles was an experience that left me with a deep sadness and great disappointment. From the moment we walked through the door, the indifference was palpable. The young woman in charge of seating us didn't even bother to hide her lack of interest. Despite the restaurant being practically empty, with numerous vacant tables in plain sight, her attitude was cold and distant. Not a friendly glance, not a welcoming greeting. Just a dry "wait" that echoed in the silence of the place. We stood there, by the entrance, feeling invisible. The minutes dragged on, filled with an awkward silence and the growing feeling that our presence was a bother. We looked at the empty tables, wondering what the wait was for. After fifteen long minutes of being completely ignored, sadness turned into the certainty that we were not welcome. Disappointment washed over us as we realized that a place that might once have offered a comforting meal now only offered us indifference and disdain. With a lump in our throats, we decided to leave the restaurant. We left as quietly as we arrived, taking with us the bitter feeling of having been treated with an unacceptable lack of consideration. It's regrettable that a restaurant with Denny's history would allow this kind of treatment towards its potential customers. This experience not only left us hungry but also with a profound sense of sadness for the lack of professionalism and human warmth we encountered. We will not...
