⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wishing I could give 6 stars! 🌟

We had an unforgettable dinner last night at La Masseria in East Greenwich. My wife, son, cousin, and I (party of four) enjoyed an absolutely flawless evening from start to finish.

We started with a delicious round of appetizers: 🦐 Shrimp cocktail – perfectly chilled and fresh, with a zesty cocktail sauce 🦪 Oysters on the half shell – briny, smooth, and incredibly fresh 🧀 Burrata with cured ham – creamy and rich, perfectly complemented by the savory ham

For our entrées, we shared: 🍤 Shrimp Scampi – tender shrimp in a light garlic and white wine sauce over pasta, full of flavor without being too heavy 🍗 Chicken Parmesan – crispy, juicy, and topped with just the right amount of marinara and melted cheese 🥩 Veal Parmesan – tender and flavorful, cooked just right with a beautiful crust and a generous layer of cheese

Each dish was beautifully plated and arrived hot and fresh. The portions were generous and satisfying without being overwhelming.

To finish the night, we shared two outstanding desserts: 🍫 A rich chocolate cake with almonds—decadent, moist, and a perfect texture 🍮 A classic crème brûlée with a crisp sugar top and smooth, creamy custard inside

The service was equally impressive—friendly, professional, and attentive without being intrusive. We felt truly taken care of from the moment we arrived until the last bite.

The ambiance is warm, elegant, and inviting—ideal for both special occasions and casual nights out. La Masseria continues to be one of our favorite restaurants in Rhode Island.

Highly recommend. Can’t...

This review is written knowing there's a little bias going in. My boss and his wife are frequent customers of this restaurant and have apparently known the owner for some time. Despite not knowing that fact, the staff has treated them quite well over the two times that I've joined them here for dinner. My boss has made a point to be gracious to the staff and they've returned that in kind. As you'd expect, I found the service to be excellent and attentive.

The food itself was rather good. I did not order a drink and can only comment on the dish that I ordered. Which was a large size pasta dish with meatballs, Italian sausage, and braised short ribs. Each of those meats was quite good and brought something unique to the dish. I'd say that the braised short rib was especially good. I hadn't had that in an Italian dish before and it was well represented here. The thick tomato based sauce was a perfect compliment to the savory selection of meats. Having had some time to digest, I'd also like to note that despite the fact that I often get indigestion from dishes with a meat medley such as this, I did not suffer that issue from this dish. I can only guess why, but I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't happen. La Masseria is another top-notch Italian restaurant in a sea of excellent choices in the area. It certainly deserves a try if you've...

Tried this restaurant tonight for the first time. It had a very nice, cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Acoustics were good inside, you could dine inside or out. Our waiter was good, and the rest of the staff was attentive when our waiter was tied up with some "regulars". We ordered linguine with baby clams, plain ravioli w sauce, mini meatballs, short ribs, and sausage, and another pasta dish (bolognese), all were very flavorful and delicious. Any fish or beef meals were outrageously priced even for this nice atmosphere and based on the pasta dishes, even though they were very good, certainly weren't that much better compared to other restaurants for less money. The basket of breads & breadsticks were very good they served with the meal as were the desserts. Lava cakes with gelato and an apple tart with vanilla bean ice cream and raspberry sauce which was beautifully presented on the plate. Would I go here again? Probably not. 4 people, no alcoholic drinks (water and soda) was $144.00 not including tip of course. The only other thing we ordered was a rather bland appetizer, fresh mozzarella with tomatoes. The friendly, attentive waitstaff gets 4 stars though, we never felt we were being rushed and were able to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere with our friends. 3 stars was mostly based on the...
