The Updike Room at the Greenwich Hotel — Hotel in East Greenwich

I was verbally attacked by the band and the patrons of this restaurant after the band guitarist hit my car in the front of the bar. I asked to speak to the guitarist after I saw him hit my car. He denied it when I asked for his insurance and the whole place shouted me down. I had to leave because a man at the bar was yelling at me to leave and was yelljng hateful comments at me about the way I look. Be careful in this place . I have been a patron of this bar in the past.

It is Horrible that the owner has learned nothing from this experience, you could have reached out to me if you were concerned at all. Your staff could have easily asked the Employee who i saw hit my car step outside to give me his insurance or sort out the situation. Instead i was made fun of by the people inside and now you are claiming i verbally attacked somebody, horrible. you should be ashamed to continue to attack me even after reviewing the footage. Take responsibility that your business could have handled the situation better. i had to touch up the bumper on my rental car that was scratched.

The only negative experience I had in EG on my travels was here. First, it was the only place all trip that had a cover charge to get I'm, but it was only $5. The woman working the door was an absolute delight though. I get in and find an empty spot to order a drink. About 10 minutes go by, and finally I get an order placed.

I then see the bartender go around, taking other orders, and serving other peoole. She finally gets back around to me after another 10 minutes, and asks if I want to order. I said my drink again, and she made the drink. After finishing the drink, I just headed out, not wanting to deal with the prolonged waiting that only happened at this bar on...

Love the ambiance and the music! My new fun place. My only small complaint is that I would arrive, sit at the bar by myself and I’ve had to flag a bartender for a drink after several minutes. I would also be sitting there with an empty glass again and I’d have to flag for a bartender. They would walk by and not acknowledge my presence. An ‘I’ll be right with you’ would be appreciated. The pours were inconsistent. When I told the second bartender how the first bartender made my drink she just shrugged me off. So next time I know which bartender I’ll have to...
