It truly pains me that I have to leave such a negative review but words can't describe the bad service I experienced when dining here. I would like to point out I have been a regular here for years, I am closer to another location but drive the extra bit just for this one. The past six years I have been met with nothing but great and positive employees. I came in and placed a dine in order- a soup bowl and a simple smoothie. Normally when I order these items it takes about 10 minutes but this time I found myself waiting for about 18 minutes. I wouldn't have complained if the building was busy like all the other times I came in, but this time there was only about five people. After waiting that long, I had came up to the counter looking for an employee to ask why the wait was so long. I did not recognize the worker so I assumed she was new and thats why it was taking longer than usual. I asked if she could get her manager and I was then met with a lady named Amanda who in the beginning of the chat was understanding but as it continued she grew more hostile. This was the most unprofessional management I've met in a long time. While trying to explain the situation, I was continuously cut off and was made to feel I was being inconsiderate because the employee was new. The interaction lasted for 5 minutes and the food still wasn't ready by then. I ended up just leaving without a refund or my food. I cant explain how upsetting it was to see a place I enjoyed so much and supported treat me this way. I can confirm I will not be returning because of the mistreatment. I hope the manager fixes the problems and how she treats customers because I that was truly disheartening...

Here is today's edit: So, I ordered a soup from rapid pickup online at 10 AM, which is the exact moment the soups are available for ordering. Well, in the past and today, they said their soup machine was not working. I came in as soon as I ordered the soup, because I ordered it from the parking lot. I ended up waiting in Panera for a half hour for my soup to come. They said the soup machine was broken. I keep hearing the cooking staff shouting to each other, "Get his soup ready!" and nobody got it ready yet. I can't believe this. Soup machines should be working by 10 AM. That's why I order my soups earlier than 10 AM so they would have it ready as soon as it is 10.
The drive thru takes too longI . It's better to get rapid pick up, so if you want their food for take out, don't come to Panera in pajamas assuming you can quickly your food in the drive thru. Every time, I go through the drive thru even when a short line, I turn off my car because of it's 10 minute wait. Panera is fast food, not a regular restaurant. Overall, the food and staff are great. Inside is great too and rapid pick up is fast.

I ordered family dinner after work through the drive through window. They charged me wrongly two times. The first time I corrected the cashier right away because the total amount is $20 more than what I expected. Tonight, I ordered a bread bowl chicken wild rice soup and other items. I paid $6.29 plus tax. But when I arrived home, there is just a tiny small soup in my bag. I called to adjust my payment and they asked me to drive all the way back with the food in the bag. But I have kids to feed. I can’t bring all the food back at dinner time. They never asked you what kind of the side you want either. Don’t go to this Panera. They overcharge you and mess up ur order. They don’t put customer in top priority. They think it’s small money overcharged and the customer won’t drive back. They take advantage on me. If the company really cares about customer experience, please make it right!!!! I still think they shouldn’t mess up my order at first and ask me to drive back with food. So disappointed!!!!
