I’ve ordered from here a total of 4 times in the last day 3 months. The first time it was good. The second time they took my order ( 2 pizzas ) repeated it back to me, but only brought me one pizza. When I called to let them know we were missing half the order the woman on the phone sternly disagreed with me on what I ordered. I don’t know how when they repeated it back, they sent the missing pizza. And didn’t even offer anything to make up for it. So half my family ate pizza while the other half waited another hour for the second to arrive. The 3rd time the pizza was under cooked and soupy. It barely held together. And the topping all just slid off. This last time was tonight, ordered the same 2 pizzas we always order, they arrived cold. Not even warm, cold. And one of them came with out any cheese on it at all. I called to let them know and she said that’s what we ordered. WHY would we order something different then we always have ? Cheese is the MAIN ingredient on a pizza. I told her we always order the same thing when we call and it doesn’t make sense that we call and ask for no cheese. She’s swears that’s how it was ordered. I know that is NOT true. She then was quiet and I had to ask her if she was still even on the line. Then with a bunch of hesitation she asked if we wanted them to remake it and send it out. I told her yes. I hope they don’t plan on charging me for their mistake. She said sorry, but again, half my family ate and half didn’t. We’re still currently waiting for it to get here. Just the over all experiences we’ve had with them I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. MAYBE unless you were eating in where there isn’t an opportunity for it to be wrong,...
Read moreI was originally going to leave just one star, but I am not sure of the responsibility for the horrific service last night falls on the restaurant, or if it falls on Slice. To be clear, I have never had a positive experience when Slice was partnered with a restaurant.
We placed our order on the Tolli’s website (Slice) around 5:50pm and received an estimated delivery of 6:39pm. Knowing that there was a chance the restaurant was busy, we waited until after 7pm to check back in. At that time, we were told that the driver would be at the house within 5 to 7 minutes. At 7:30pm we again went to live help and were told that the driver had left and forgot to take our order. (How does that happen??).
Finally at 7:45pm we got the two pizzas we had ordered two hours ago, needless to say they were ice cold.
Slice offered up a discount for the next time we used their service, but would not refund the cost for the two cold pizzas. The sad thing, I could have walked from my house to Tollis, walked in the kitchen, made two pizzas and walked back to my house...
Read moreI went to Tollis about a half hour ago. I ordered from their lunch special a chicken BLT on a hard roll. I got home and took a bite into the hard roll and felt like I was biting into a rock (literally). The bread was hard as a rock and they don’t toast their bread. So I was given stale old bread. I called the restaurant and spoke to the man who I placed the order with. He wasn’t helpful at all. All he said was , “I’ll mention it to them, but I don’t know what to tell you.” Don’t know what to tell me?! I’ve been coming here off and on over the years. But after this experience I’m done with this place. He didn’t even have the decency to say. Why don’t you bring it back and we’ll make you another one. He repeated it more than once, “I don’t know what to tell you.” He even went on to say , “we don’t toast our bread, so I don’t know what happened.” I know what happened Tolli’s gave me old bread and now I’m wondering if they have a habit of selling old food to their customers.
