I hope to never have to take my friend there. She likes going there but there's a smell of mold . That day, they must of been having a slow day to prep their food, but # 1 broccoli creamy soup Wasn't cook properly. It was watery, horrible !!! We go to checkout, they have no change for a $100.00. The cook or whatever came out the kitchen with an attitude, was trying to tell the waitress that they had no change. I made a comment jokingly, I guess we ate for free. He says I guess I call the cops. Really, I said I was kidding. He with a mean look , no smile, nothing !!! Then as I told my friend , I think I have the bills, and get this, the waitress ask, do you want your $.76cents back? I said well yes , she goes to get her purse to give me change. That same jerk said, well you give her your change. My friend and I were shock that that large disgusting man tell the waitress that to begin with. I can't believe they have no change in bills, or even loose change. We felt bad for the waitress, to put up with that jerk's attitude. They need to clean up their act . Corporate needs to change whomever that man is. Poor waitress, her and her large lashes. I'd hate to have that fall in anyone's soup while serving customers. Smaller lashes might work better kn you. So sorry. Overall clean up their whole sitting area. Bathroom smells. The environment just needs...
Read moreThe service and atmosphere get 1 star because that's the lowest we can go. My family travels quite extensively and this was our first time in Lancaster. We are a large family with 7 small children so we try to be as flexible as possible when dining out to not overwhelm staff. Mark L. made us feel extremely unwelcome. Told us they were out of French fries and almost all ice cream to try and discourage us from staying.
He slammed our menus on a booth table too small for our party of 10 and told us we would have to put our 6 month old in a sperate booth. The restaurant was not busy.
He continued being condensending and rude for our entire visit. One of our children asked why did he "keep smiling mean" when we left.
Our bill included an upcharge for sides that we got in liue of fries because we were told they were out. He laughed and joked with the other servers about telling us there were no fries while they were eating fries with a friend visiting the restaurant at the front counter. Other customers were also being served fries while we were there.
We still tipped the customary 20 percent but the whole experience was disheartening. Our kiddos had a craving for fries and ice cream after swimming and we chose this restaurant to have a nice...
Read moreWe were staying in a hotel nearby and the kids wanted a late night meal before bed. We went in 1 hr and 15 minutes before closing. There was our party and one other table. Our server, Mark, immediately told us there were no fries and they were out of a majority of icecream flavors. We said we'd stay anyways. We ordered two mini mozzerella appetizers, a cheeseburger meal, two of the munchies appetizers, and two desserts for our table - $93 before tip! Most Friendly's anywhere near us are shutdown and they didn't used to be so expensive. Not worth the cost. We saw the other party get fries with their meal. Their was another man at the counter that seemed to be an employee from another location or close friend because he hung out talking to the front staff the entire time we were there. As we got our check, he was served icecream and fries. Again, they told us we couldn't have fries so we had to substitute sides and got charged extra money for getting those sides because they wouldn't serve us fries. We had an upcharge for getting mac n cheese with the cheeseburger meal. Our server was rude he had to even serve us yet we left a 19% tip. We left 20 minutes to closing and they locked the doors behind us. Not...
