Read moreAlways a suboptimal experience. As an adolescent, I never understood the appeal - Georgio's was across the street (now closed). Georgio's is/was a dynamic experience; they will put anything on a pizza and you never know what you're going to find, but it was selected to taste good. It's always a weird experience, but it's unique. Bell's? It's stayed the same. In a lot of ways, the Little Caesar's next door also hasn't changed in decades. Also, what's odd, is that the service is about the same, while the prices seem outrageous. I grew up in this area, went to multiple schools here, left, and came back. The price of a few slices or a sandwich or even the bread sticks is just beyond reasonable for being across from a frat house and not serving beer. Never been to the frat, but as a fat adult, I find it profane when a place has tables, has pop, serves pizza, and not beer (sir Georgio is no exclusion). It's weird, especially since the pizza is so sub-par; oregano, garlic salt, and fake parm "authentic" pizza it does not make. Also, Greek. I spent about $50 on the gyro, a Caesar salad, cheese fries, 2 drinks, and what I thought was enough bread sticks for a table of 10 people. Everyone was ordering for themselves, while two groups of us ordered what we thought were enough appetizers for the whole table. We received 6 bread sticks, and food arrived over the period of an hour. I had finished my food before my partner. Well, the last person to receive their food was my partner, about an hour later. I guess that's not totally fair because my cheese fries arrived about an hour after I had finished the gyro. Was it good? It was drunk college food. Was I...
Read moreThe owner is a stingy business owner who has terrible customer relations. I ordered pizza with ranch on the side and was told that the pizza would take 40 mins to 1 hour. After waiting over an hour, I called back and I was told the driver was on the way. After waiting 30 minutes, I called back and I was told that my pizza was given to the wrong person, and I was given an option to wait 20 to 30 minutes to get my pizza again or wait until tomorrow to get my pizza, I chose wait an additional 20 to 30 minutes. When the pizza guy arrived, I realized that they forgot the ranch so I called the Bell's and the owner suggested I was at fault for the pizza being lost and that he would resend the pizza guy back with my ranch and that I should never order back again because "I was being f* rude" about the whole ordeal. After waiting an additional 10 minutes I realized that pizza didn't come with all the toppings I paid for. However, by the end of this I didn't care. Any advice for the people who order from Bell's, don't prepay for the pizza because if something goes wrong the owner won't...
