P.T. O'Malley's — Restaurant in East Lansing

The dancing/dive bar vibe is present here, but they have MANY, many OSHA violations waiting to happen. Bottles of liquor and juices are left uncovered, they do not use sani water (in restaurant language, this is a widely standard and necessary liquid for cleaning surfaces), and there are several safety hazards, as well. Their dancing stage has open, faulty wires, while the mens bathroom frequently has puke in the urinals (and the stench carries throughout about a third of the establishment), the women’s bathroom lacks doors on some stalls, and the handicap accessible stall has a gaping hole in the floor that could easily result in a twisted ankle. There is no toilet paper nor soap for use, no matter the time of day. The floors of the bathrooms do not get mopped and their toilets just as dirty. People dance on the tables and seats, which aren’t regularly wiped down, so don’t wear any pants you don’t want to get sticky or downright dirty.

They try to pass as a cool bar, but prices are high and quality is low. VERY unclean. Would not go here if you want to avoid getting germy and sick. Sorry for being such a Karen, but as a college student, I have pretty low standards, so you can imagine this...

I have been going to this bar for literally years and with all the new employees it's a complete waste of time to set foot in there anymore. Not only does it take seriously 15 minutes to get anyone to acknowledge you but also you used to get a pitcher of their 2 "craft" beers for $6 on Thursdays it's now $16 for some reason. Oh last thing when I was in there tn one of the douche bartenders gave me, a guest, a paying customer, the finger and walked away. I know it's a dirt bar but come on. The drinks are fine. The bathroom is atrocious. I thought I was going to hepatitis Z. There were tampons on the floor, entire tp rolls IN the toilet, and no toilet paper in any of the stalls. The sinks were filled with used toilet paper. It was diagusting. When I asked an employee if he had seen the bathroom, he responded with “oh I’ve heard, they rarely clean it”.
