Diamond Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in East Lyme

Gave up on this place many years ago but decided to give it another try since it was getting good reviews on one of the Niantic social media groups.

Was happily surprised. Food is fabulous, service is fast and friendly. Love the convenience of ordering online and being able to pay at the counter.

Asked the woman behind the counter if ownership/staff was new to the place and she said no, it’s been about 6 years. Wish I’d known this 6 yrs ago 😩

Now I’m hooked on their boneless ribs, pork fried rice and General Tso’s bean curd (tofu)

I know Chinese takeout is not exactly health food but the food here tastes so much less greasy and salty than others, even the egg rolls!
