Angelo's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in East Manchester Township

I visited my mom and normally the kids and I get Papa John's or marcellos or pizza box but we decided to try a new place and the area and wish we didn't... I ordered a Large pizza with bacon and half pepperoni and a bacon cheeseburger sub with no onions or tomatoes... While I seat there and waited 2 peoples orders came out wrong... Then I got my food so I checked it before I left. The pizza was all bacon and pepperoni so they fixed that... Then got to my mom's house and went to eat and you away let your kids eat frist then you eat . Well my mom said the pizza was cold and she lives not even 5 minutes away and the sub well the outside looked good till went to eat it and my daughter said why is it pink . It was not cooked the whole way through. They said they would fix it but had to bring the one back that was not cooked so used my gas to back again and took my teenager with me so she could check her food before we left and it was cooked that time... And to think I gave them a $2.00 tip when I went in there and ordered and waited and then both things I ordered came out wrong... Never give a tip till after get your food never know if it will be right...Not a frist impression will not order again... When someone spends $37.74 and gives a $2.00 tip think the food would be...

Tried this place for the first time. Extremely disappointing. Ordered the cheesesteak and an Antipasto salad. Salad was "Meh" nothing but iceberg, some thin sliced tomato, and whole slices of meat and cheese, with a little bit of pickled veg. No olives, cucumber, etc. It was edible but very unimpressive. The cheesesteak.... if had to choose one word it would be "disgusting". While the subs are no doubt large, that about where anything good stops. I prefer my cheesesteak what they refer to as "California style" around here. It did come with lettuce, tomato, onion and mayo as ordered. First... the "bread" a distasterous attempt at an inhouse baked sub bun which was white, undercooked, doughy, and tasted like exactly what it was - yeasty overproofed leftover pizza dough. Awful. Second... the "steak"... advertised as fresh sliced top round it too was just plain bad. The texture was more of a fine ground meat that was heavily seasoned and overly salty. Tasted more like what I imagine it really is, a seasoned beef pizza topping. But the dog seemed to like it. Ordered two cheesesteaks with fried onion and cheese sauce. The girl that took my order put it in as a cheeseburger sub with pizza sauce. I called asking if I could return them and get what I ordered. She did say yes but offered no type of discount even after I told her at least one sub should be free. I had to eat my fries separate to avoid them getting cold. After I asked for a least one sub to be free she kept insisting they would deliver it out to me right away. One hour later we did get it. Me and my wife are doing a cheesesteak ranking game. Each weekend we are getting a cheesesteak with just onions and wiz to see who has the best around manchester. This is the second week. Heart of Sicily knocked it out of the park the first week. Angelos will probably get our worst rating. It did have onions but only about one or two slivers we couldn't taste them. The bread was awful. The steak was like a loose meat sandwich with a whole jar of Italian seasoning dumped on it. We gave it a 4 out of 10.
