They totally missed the mark. Miss the Windmill, they changed the biscuit and Gravy its terrible. Their skillets are watery, they should have asked Miltos for all his recipes. Their soups are not close to the Windmill. So Sad. They needed to keep Miltos supplier, if it works don't change it. Not as busy as Windmill was.Tried it again same mediocre food but this time food was cold. Please bring back the original biscuit and Gravy and skillets. Ordered Sour Dough Toast it tasted like regular bread, and again said they switched suppliers who im sure was cheaper, terrible. Whoever says the food is amazing and delicious never ate at the Windmill. They don't even come close. They Use to be packed on Saturday mornings you could hardly find a parking spot, not anymore. Our favorite Waitress left, we miss you Angelique ๐๐ the Owner is not Personable, doesn't sit with customers or walk around and talk to people like Milto did. Just not the same, very dissapointed. They need a good Family Restaurant in the Quad Cities, they had one and Miltos sold it. I am happy him and Cathy got to retire but why change something that was working. If it's not broke...

I would NEVER recommend this place simply based on the lack of customer service received. They obviously don't care about the demographics they serve if they cannot hire staff that desires to work with the public. I'd suggest diversifying the staff with people who can understand the customer base and, in turn, are understood by customers!!! Until that happens: this is...

Only white bread served before the meal (staff did not ask whether we wanted wheat, white, or other type of bread. Previous salads used some dark greens. Now we see only iceberg water based plant. There was a table of chefs, and maybe an owner there. None of them walked the floor to ask how the food tasted. Was our service good, yes - we did have a waitress that worked at The Windmill, she was excellent. But the lighter sized meals that lacked the excellent seasoning of The Windmill was a disappointment. The soup was institutional and bland....
