Fisherman’s Plate — Restaurant in East Orange

The other day I tried, K-Seafood, for lunch. I had ordered their F2 Fried Platter which includes, 2 Whiting, 5 Shrimps, 2 Crab Sticks, & 5 Scallops w/ Vegetable Rice (or fries). I really did not want to like this place, but it was pretty decent. The seafoods had a nice flavor to them, and everything was fried great! The Vegetable Rice was pretty bland, and a bit oily. But the rice was fairly decent in flavor. I have no complaints about the Mac ONLY because I was fortunate to be able to season it up a bit (Salt, Pepper, Hot Sauce). But if not for the extra seasoning, the Mac would’ve been serviceable and/or mediocre at best. All in all, this place is decent. The seafood tasted fresh and was seasoned. As someone who eats crab legs almost every week, I was disappointed when I was charged for 2 lbs and only received 1 lb. The lady lied and said it was because the crabs were "big". I am from New England and knew this to be a lie. When I asked the lady to weigh the crab in front of me, she said she didn't have a scale (what fish market doesn't have a scale) so I went over to the grocery store next door just to confirm what I already knew. the two ladies were VERY unprofessional and rude to me. The box only had 2.5 clusters in it and I had to feed 4 people. 2lbs is at least 4 clusters. Nice clean place great customer service from the new owners but I wasn't too pleased with the food I ordered f2 with rice. It's vegetable rice and the vegetables in it was hard and the rice had no flavor, the meal came with shrimp, fish, crab sticks and scallops now I'm a seafood person and I like fresh seafood there seafood is over breaded like most fish markets that also serve hot food, the scallops and crab sticks were imitation the fish was okay and so were the shrimp even though they weren't split and cleaned.
