First of all, I want to say that I thought the restaurant was very well designed and decorated. My wife and I go to Peoria every now and then as it’s a close drive. We noticed other restaurants were packed so we tried Logan’s. When we first arrived we were seated immediately with menus. The table was extremely sticky and I did not want to cause a scene so I went to the bathroom and wet down paper towels to clean it off. We started with two drinks my wife got the margarita and I had the old-fashioned. The old-fashioned was half simple syrup and half ice. I did not taste any bourbon. My wife’s margarita was OK but similar story where there was no hint of alcohol in either drink. The waitress brought warm rolls to the table, which were very good. We ordered the mushrooms as an appetizer. The mushrooms were more like boiled in grease rather than fried. They had no crispiness to them, and there was standing grease in the bottom of the wax paper. I assumed it was Logan’s way of making mushrooms and we didn’t think too much into it.. Due to my first cocktail being mostly sugar and ice, I tried the rancher. Margarita.. I do not believe the bartender at Logan’s is using alcohol at all. After three drinks, we decided to not pay for another and opted to just finish our water.. My wife ordered a sirloin steak, medium rare and I ordered a 16 ounce ribeye rare. I have never had a steak this rare in my life. It was almost like they took it out of the package and warmed it up in a toaster for a few seconds then brought it to the table. My wife’s steak was also rare to the point where both steaks were purple in the middle. My main issue with the entire meal is that the server noticed we did not touch our steaks after the first bite and never asked if there was an issue. I also ordered the Parmesan rice and the baked potato with my steak and both sides were cold. My wife also ordered a Loaded, baked potato with her steak both of our baked potatoes had un melted almost cold cheese on top And we paid extra for those sides. I was also very upset after such a disappointing meal to find out that my total bill was $104.00. I can ruin food on my own at home. The reason I pay a restaurant for a steak and a cocktail is to have it professionally done.. I am shocked That this restaurant still has four stars. I am not one of those people to call the manager or send something back to the kitchen. However, if I was a waitress, and I noticed two of my customers did not take a bite out of their entrées I would ask if something was wrong. Then after not finishing our meal, we asked for Keylime pie, hoping to find something to eat in this facility, only to be told they did not have any left.. Read moreHonest review I showed up on a Saturday night around 7pm and was advised by the hosts it will take about 20 to 30 minutes before getting a seat. Great no problem well ended up waiting about an hour to be exact 55 minutes while I watch many people leave the restaurant I saw a few empty tables. With in the 55 minutes of me waiting not one host took the charge to start sitting people or cleaning tables. They instead decided to sit on their phones instead of working. I watch as they gave away a door dash to a random customer and instead of remaking the door dash order said to contact them and they will not remake it. Finally seated to our table and it was disgusting it was sticky crayons on the floor dirty napkins on the floor and crumbs now it would have taken an extra minute to clean it instead of sitting me at a dirty table. Which is very unsanitary. The server comes to our table very nice and polite brings my water and bread to start. I then ask a host if they have jelly and she with the pink afro rolls her eyes and walks away then comes back with attitude and says no we do not. Ok great thanks for the information and attitude. Same lady I watched as a customer came in for food customer had said this is the wrong food not what I ordered. The host with the pink afro then yanks the bag up and storms off with attitude. Our server comes back and we order our food. After another hour our server comes out and states there was a new cook in the back and threw away our ticket(accidently). Now I'm beyond done and they claim to have been making the food again yet it took them 30 minutes when I was advised it would only take less then 20 minutes. At this point I had talked to a manager and explained half the situation and he apologized for the horrible service we received. I then get my food and leave no charge great then made my mood better and tipped server for him being the only good part of the night. Read moreTonight the worst dining experience I’ve had (mostly in the payment process). I don’t ever write comments or reviews, this will be the first. I started off ordering a steak and bunch of other stuff and they tasted delicious. Nothing to say about the food. However, I ordered the wood grilled chicken and specified to the waitress who served me that I wanted the 6.99 one yet I got charged with 14.99 for ‘grilled chicken’. I acted confused when I talked to her about it and said she would fix it. After around 10 minutes she came back and gave me a receipt said she fixed it. Well guess what, she did not. All she did was that she printed the receipt of the correct order and didn’t charge the correct amount which was 8 dollar less than my charged amount. After I found out I told her to charge the right amount which she took my card for it. I was patient and even courteous all along btw. After 10 minutes, she did not come back, instead, a plus sized bearded short guy came by and I supposed that was the manager, and handed the receipt extremely condescendingly and told me that if I had any problem gave them a call. Even then I still was polite and took the receipt from him, after I walked out, I checked my wallet and realized that none of them returned my credit card. So I had to go back into the restaurant the third time, to retrieve the card. I started to get a little pissed and told them, especially the manager, that this is ridiculous. I’m not mad about the waitress making mistakes, for charging me 7 more dollars and made the mistake multiple times, I’m pissed at the attitude of the plus sized bearded manager who does not know how to handle the situation whatsoever, I did not receive one word of apology from start to finish. I guess this also finished off my dining experience at the Logan’s road house. If anyone from the management sees this make sure to look in to that manager. This used to be my favorite diner to eat in the entire city guess tonight this experience ends it. Just a side note, the entire process of mishandling the tabs took me 40 minutes. Now I’m still expecting a refund on the wrongly charged bill. Absolutely disappointed...
