The manager on duty tonight shorter woman with light brown ponytail was absolutely terrible. She started out her drive thru routine with hello? After asking us to give them a minute. Upon our arrival to the 2nd window the manager was literally filling our drinks up and one by one slamming them into the cup holder! 2 large drinks 1 medium knowing the cup holder wouldn't be able to handle them which usually results in the restaurant doing 2 cup holders to ensure the holder doesn't buckle she Nilly Willy wings open the window and aggressively says here as cup holder starts to buckle in the middle! She then slams window closed! Comes back abt 3 mins later practically tossing the bags out the window and when I asked abt bbq sauce she replies check the bag!!!! Ummmm .... ya see we didn't make her apply there to work she did that on her own, her choice! Good night or bad, fully staffed or short staffed, previously rude customers or a boss we had nothing to do with that! We were polite and used our manners as usual and she would embarrass Dave and his daughter Wendy if they knew how rude and disrespectful one of their employees they made management in charge of customer service was acting twords customers spending their hard earned money there! It's not our fault she makes fries and flips burgers it's hers and she should smile and be grateful people still come there for food knowing she works there bc soon enough she will run all the customers off and have to move on to her next fast food joint bc Dave and Wendy will Go out of business bc of her rude assholish...
Read moreThe drive-thru tonight was a bit crowded, possibly due to the renovations going on at nearby McDonald's. We finally got to the point of placing the order....and waited....and waited. Finally, a voice announced that she would be with us in a moment. After a few minutes more, we were able to pmace our order.
I ordered a Baconator small combo with a Sprite, specifying that I wanted only beef, bacon and the bun as my son doesn't like condiments of any kind. The voice asked, "Do you want cheese?" No, I responded, just beef, bacon and the bun.
I then ordered a Baconator Jr in the same exact manner so that there would be no confusion.
When we got to the window, I paid the bill in cash and was handed the coin change along with the dollars - the change going flying in the car. We got the goods without further incident, and drove away.
My history of Wendy's experiences tells me to always check the order prior to leaving, as I've gotten more screwed up orders from Wendy's than any other place combined. But...we were in a rush, and so stupidly we trusted that this time all would be as ordered.
Instead....both sandwiches came fully loaded with cheese, ketchup and mustard, and as a bonus the fries were lukewarm at best and tasteless. But hey, the soda orders were correct, which accounts for the 1 star rating in place of what otherwise would have been a 0...
Read moreGod forbid you order more than 1 meal. Youre public enemy #1. I used the app months ago to order dinner for my family of 4. Picked the food up 30 minutes after ordering. Was yelled at by the “manager” that the food wasn’t ready. When it came out to the car, the staff said, “are you the one who ordered everything on the menu?” I ordered a salad, 2 burger meals and a plain cheese burger 👀 Knowing this is the type of treatment you’ll receive makes going to and spending money at this establishment frustrating however they’ve been here in Phoenixville longer than many other restaurants. Wendy’s is a place my grandparents used to take us as children. A place I’d get fries with friends when we came home from college. The staff then never treated their customers so poorly. I went last night, ordered 1 meal and the woman nearly threw it in my car. I’m a believer in saying nothing if you’ve got nothing nice to say however next time I go and this behavior happens, I’m not sure I can keep my comments to myself. It’s a shame some of their employees...
