Having a purse stolen and then being accused that you are the reason that this all happened is something I’m guessing you’re not striving for over there, right owner? As you can see from the review below, my wife left her purse two days later when she called Chilli’s, they said that they had her purse, that same night she went to retrieve purse, and they told her it was locked in a safe, understandable, the next day my wife goes to get the purse and oh my goodness the purse is gone from the safe, then inform them that we are going to file a police report, well, wouldn’t you know 10 minutes later my wife gets a call from the manager saying that they’ve interrogated everybody in the place and what happened was he or somebody took the purse out of the safe and put it on the counter where somebody else threw it away whoops sorry it wasn’t stolen somebody threw it away no need for the police right? How do they “resolve” this issue? They give my wife a phone number to an insurance company and a reference number for a case, after many days of the woman from the insurance company not calling my wife back , she proceeds to basically insinuate this is all my wife’s fault and how did she not know that her purse was gone for two days, the fact remains you guys had the purse in the lock safe and the next day it was gone now I call up just five minutes ago and say, can I speak with the manager and they say OK sure who’s calling I give my name and somebody else comes on the line and says hello? I say, how are you doing? Who am I speaking with, she said, well who am I speaking with? Very shady, I give her my name again and I say this is kind of shady you asking me who I am, and why you won’t give me your name, she tells me that she’s a manager trainee, and that the manager is cooking on the line and then proceeds to hang up on me and when I called back and said, did we get disconnected she said no I hung up because you said that we are shady here, what kind of a circus is being run at this place? This woman actually yelled while I was talking “trace this call the police are involved” like I’m sort of a criminal when all I want is my wife’s purse back, which isn’t gonna happen, or an acceptable replacement of value, not to be told by an insurance rep. “well how do we know you had what you said you had in the first purse”. And then she tells my wife we can give you $50 when the purse was roughly $80 and she had many lipsticks in there i believe 6 or so, did we say there was $200 or $500 like we could have lied about no, we told them exactly what was in there and that insurance company is horrible and my experience at this chillis was as well. Good paying customers left to feel like we did something wrong....

I had not been in any Chili's for 4 or 5 years. In the past with a certain group of friends we went one or twice a year. I have driven by the East Providence location hundreds of times. And for a long time, my comment was, we should stop in and try it out again sometime. Father's day 2022 we did. So, the service was fine, staff was great. Food came in decent time for a holiday. The food itself, was delicious. My baked seafood was great. The good Doctors dish great. No issue with that. The cokes not watered down. But then there is the other issue. Waiting for a table I went to the restroom. It was filthy and smelled bad. Because that got my attention, I started to look on the walls, floors, furniture as I went back to wait. We were then seated quickly, so I didn't leave, but thought about it. As I sat and ordered, besides the dirty floors, the walls for a foot and a half up were pretty gross. Our table tho just washed off was greasy. I have designed restaurants. I know it is a tough business. I also have owned 4 cleaning businesses over several decades. Keeping them clean is not easy. Economically it is tough to shut down for a complete cleaning. But seriously, this East Providence location needs it. It is time to refresh the restaurant. Then go back to cooking the...

I stopped in after work and sat at the bar. Before anyone came to take a drink order for me another gentleman left cause he’d been there a while and nobody took his drink order that’s fine. Took about 10 minutes before someone besides a cook acknowledged me but I got my first beer and the bartender disappeared for another ten minutes and then came back to take my food order, food came quickly but was mediocre. I ordered a second beer because I was just hanging out and watching a football game. Shift change happened as another bartender arrived who was very very quick to ask me if I needed a takeout box which I did, but I was still eating and had a full beer in front of me. Original bartender came back and took the chips I was still eating and placed them in a bag for me and gave me a box for me food before slapping the iPad for me to cash out next to me. I’m the only person at the bar at this point. I really wanted to just stay have some apps and a few beers and watch the football game but after that I decided they wanted me to leave so I did. Service was fairly bad and workers were talking smack about an employee who had an interview during my visit, only a few feet away from me. I’ll be going to the Applebee’s down the street...
