Moon Poke, Sushi & Sweets — Restaurant in East Stroudsburg

My wife and I just ordered takeout from here because we wanted something light, and cold. Being vegetarians, we saw that they had a good selection of meat-free items. We ordered multiple rolls, tofu Nigeria, and an avocado salad. We also tried their lychee slushy. Spoiler alert, everything was beyond amazing. It was refreshing and filling. I was disappointed. The 2 times I went both my orders were wrong. My first was a poke bowl and was missing some stuff I added in and was missing my avocado. 2nd time I put in for agar boba perles and got regular instead which made my entire drink taste off and ended up having to throw out a $5 drink. I didn’t say anything because I thought maybe they ran out or I put the order in wrong but I didn’t. I do like that they were open on Tuesday as other restaurants for sushi are closed that day. Tried Moon Sushi for the first time and it was amazing. Everything we ordered was fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care. We had miso soup, salad, gyoza, a salmon roll, a California roll, and one of their special rolls. Each dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented.

To top it off, the owner gave us Thai iced tea on the house and it was honestly one of the best I've had. It’s always nice when a new place opens up and not only meets expectations but goes above and beyond. Can’t wait to come back...
