I recently dined at Freddy’s and had a culinary experience that was a mix of delight and disappointment.
The food at Freddy’s is undeniably delicious, with a standout dish being their rice. Each bite was bursting with flavor, leaving me craving more. However, my dining experience was marred by the disappointing state of the kitchen and walk-in freezer.
Upon closer inspection, I observed that the kitchen and walk-in freezer were not up to the standards one would expect from a dining establishment. The lack of cleanliness was evident, with open food containers and crusty door handles, raising concerns about the overall hygiene of the restaurant. The overall kitchen and food storage areas were filthy and in disarray. Quite a shock. As much as I enjoyed the food, I cannot wholeheartedly recommend dining at Freddy’s until they address these cleanliness issues. A thorough cleaning and maintenance of their kitchen and storage areas are crucial for ensuring a safe and pleasant dining experience for all customers.
Overall, Freddy’s has the potential to be a great dining destination, but improvements in cleanliness and hygiene are necessary to fully realize this potential. I sincerely hope to see positive changes in the...
Read moreAfter going to the old location, I found the current location in the parking lot of the Valley mall. Saw the IG post about the Albondigas and that they used fresh ground beef and I was sold! It was ok, a little less flavor than I anticipated and no carrots, which is my favorite in this soup. Upon recommendation, we tried the poblano burrito, which was better, buy it was packed with rice and barely any meat. Took a birria pizza home and was shocked when we opened the box. It was literally a pizza with shredded beef on top. Not like any birria I've ever tasted, however surprisingly it was delicious and extra cheesy! The consume'was very flavorful too. Now obviously this is an old Shari's/Dennys. The place needs a GOOD cleaning and some paint to liven it up. Our table was dirty and it just made everything feel dirty. Our server was nice, but not very attentive, which was weird because they were not busy. There was only 1 other occupied table when we got there and 2 more people had come in by the time we left. Overall, probably will try some other places next time we're in town, but did see potential...
Read moreFirst time there, decided to go after seeing reviews from an acquaintance. We visited the east wenatchee location. Staff was very friendly. Unfortunately there were several things we wish wouldn't have had to experience. Our table was not cleaned as we could still see crumbs from previous customers, the back of the booth had a typical mexican colored sarape that had to be pulled off as some of the staples had come off and it was hanging from one corner only. Ordered different kinds of tacos and two of us found hair in them. Menu advertising home made tortillas and the 7 tacos and 3 quesabirrias were made out of store bought tortillas. Ordered a horchata that was pretty watered down. Was given the excuse that they had a new cook and a gift certificate to somehow make up for the issues we encountered. They probably don't mean for all these mishaps, could have just...
