Nestled in the heart of our bustling town of Malvern, Tacomar has quickly become a beacon for food enthusiasts seeking an extraordinary dining experience. As a devoted connoisseur of Mexican cuisine, I approached Tacomar with cautious optimism, but what I discovered surpassed all expectations, redefining my understanding of culinary excellence.
From the moment I stepped into Tacomar, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of vibrant warmth. The decor, a harmonious blend of traditional Mexican artistry and modern elegance, set the stage for what would be an unforgettable meal. The welcoming staff, with their genuine smiles and attentiveness, made me feel like a cherished guest rather than just another restaurant.
The menu at Tacomar is a testament to innovation and tradition, with each dish promising a unique journey of flavors. However, it was the Philly Chicken and Philly Steak tacos that truly captured my heart and palate. These tacos are a revelation, a perfect fusion of Mexican street food and the classic American Philly cheesesteak, executed with finesse and passion.
The Philly Chicken taco is a masterpiece. Tender, marinated chicken is grilled to perfection, maintaining a juicy, succulent texture that melts in your mouth. Each bite is a symphony of flavors – the smoky, charred notes of the chicken are complemented by the creamy, tangy kick of the cheese sauce, and the fresh, crisp crunch of the sautéed bell peppers and onions. The soft, warm tortilla, which holds this medley of ingredients, is the perfect vessel, adding a subtle, comforting backdrop to the bold flavors.
Equally impressive is the Philly Steak taco. Thinly sliced strips of steak, cooked to a flawless medium-rare, are the star of this creation. The meat is incredibly tender, almost buttery, and its rich, beefy flavor is elevated by the sharp, melted queso that blankets it. The addition of caramelized onions and jalapeño introduces a delightful spice and crunch, balancing the savory intensity of the steak. Each mouthful is a harmonious blend of textures and tastes, a true testament to Tacomar's culinary artistry.
What sets Tacomar apart is not just the exceptional quality of its food, but the passion and creativity that infuse every aspect of the dining experience. These Philly tacos are more than just a meal; they are an exploration of flavors, a celebration of cultural fusion that delights and surprises the senses. Tacomar has not only elevated the standard for Mexican cuisine in our area but has set a new benchmark for culinary excellence.
In conclusion, Tacomar is more than a restaurant; it is a culinary journey that redefines your expectations and tantalizes your taste buds with every bite. The Philly Chicken and Philly Steak tacos are nothing short of spectacular, making Tacomar the best Mexican place I've had in my life. If you're seeking a dining experience that transcends the ordinary and ventures into the extraordinary, look no further than Tacomar. It is a gastronomic haven that promises to leave you...
Read moreI am so happy this place opened up in this area. The menu is simple (you don't get lost reading a book) and on point. The location is convenient with plenty of parking. The restaurant is extremely clean and well kept, which is always a good sign.
Two things really stand out for me: The quality of the food and the service. The food is exceptionally good. I love Mexican food and I frequent a lot of places, and some of the items I order from those places leave me unsure of exactly what is in them, and the quality is also a mystery. Not here. The quality of the food is on par with what I would make at home, and the taste is even better than I can make. And the best part for me is that they have the California Burrito, which I got addicted to when I lived in San Diego. Next is the service. The family that owns this chain is extremely nice and very friendly and accommodating. I am always acknowledged and greeted in a welcoming manner as soon as I walk in. Its the small things like this that make a big difference for me.
I have ordered from here numerous times since they opened and not once did I have any issues with the food or the service. The consistency is very reassuring. I hope this standard remains and I hope to frequent this place for many years to come as it has easily become my favorite Mexican restaurant...
Read moreStopped in for a quick dinner and left super full, and happy! Greeted kindly almost instantly when we walked in, given instructions on how to order. If you use the QR code at the table, just be aware it will ask for a tip before service (but obviously you can leave cash after service). Got the birria and Al pastor platters, along with chips and guac with salsa. Chips were addictive, guac was tasty, only downside was salsa serving was way too small in my opinion. All of it tasted fresh, even with the chips coming from the warmer.
Tacos were excellent, I thought they were a bit small at first but flavors were great and I’m pleasantly full still. Birria was greasy in the best way, consommé was top notch (I finished what was leftover and loved the rice on the bottom), Al pastor was delicious as well- would’ve liked more of the grilled pineapple, the bites with it were the best. Their salsa verde was probably some of the tastiest I’ve had- it’s not usually my favorite but I loved it! Their red sauce was also good and had a nice kick to it- would’ve enjoyed hot sauces on the table but I was so happy with the salsa verde I didn’t even think to ask.
Service was incredibly fast, staff was very friendly, food was great and reasonably priced for a casual, MTO place. We will definitely be back, I’d really like to try the burritos...
