I’m responding to your response to Lynn Leis’ review. The response is malicious and inaccurate. As for your comment about being bullish and rude and it having happened before, this is completely untrue. We were both annoyed by the lack of service and by the fact that we were largely ignored. Lynn was on time (early) but I was unavoidably late. The policy about bread was not explained to her, so she kept reminding the server. The soup came out, and it always takes a long time to eat it because it is hot and so what? I’ve ordered the soup many times and the server has had no problem serving the entrees. I cancel the salad because it was just too late - I like to eat it before my meal. Again, this has never been a problem before. I ordered the takeout when I ordered my meal - I ordered 2 entree-sized green pasta to go and 1 appetizer size for me at the table. When the takeout was delivered, there was only 1 container so I assumed the other one had been unintentionally omitted. Turns out they gave me 2 appetizer portion and put them in one box - how was I to know this? At no time were we “rude” to the servers- just extremely frustrated. We were there from 6:20 (Lynn)/6:45 (me) and couldn’t leave until after 9:00pm. I was charged for the 3 appetizer size meals given ($11 x 3) but it should have been 1 appetizer and 2 entrees ($22 each). However Lynn law $22 on her bill at the table, then it was additional at the register - $8.00 for her soup, taxes - she just inquired about the discrepancy, she didn’t think the entree would be charged the same as the appetizer side - that is ridiculous. You have blamed the victims here. Very, very bad way to treat loyal customers who have recommended you to many people over the...

Bad start under new owners!
I went there for the first time in a long Time for my wife’s birthday with friends. In the past it was always difficult to get a last minute reservation. I learned that it had recently been reopened, after being closed for a while and was under new ownership.
Apparently they had the same chef which reassuring. The restaurant was far from full so expected kitchen wasn’t overwhelmed and food would come out in a fairly timely manner.
90 minutes later our main courses arrived. AT about 45 minutes I started asking how our meal was coming along, Every time I asked my waitress, she said it was coming. At about 1 hour I finally got the real scoop!
Apparently the chef was teaching the new owner how to prepare the various dishes on the menu.
The food overall was good, veal chop, Rack of lamb, filet and duck. The sides were puny and the string beans weren’t the best quality for a “French” restaurant.
When I complained to my waitress about the inexcusable wait, indicating we were very displeased and asked her to tell the owner in training, I assumed he would come out to at least apologize, he never showed! I got a Joe Biden😵💫….
Waitress should have taken initiative and let us know what the delay was.
As far as atmosphere, the last time we ate there it was noisy. This time it was quiet and they added table cloths. Ehhh🤔
Better get it together or this restaurant will close again very soon!
Bill for 4 was 200 plus tip.
Not sure if I will give them a...
