I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received tonight. My fiancé and I ordered two chicken biryani’s. We got to the restaurant to pick it up, they said it wasn’t ready. My fiance came back to the car to let me know, then he went back inside the restaurant. Not even five minutes had passed since they said it was not ready and suddenly the food was ready. He took it, came to the car, we opened the containers and the food was cold. It had clearly just been sitting for awhile. We then both went back in and stated what had just occurred and the woman at the front said “it’s fine, it’s fresh”. I said “no this is cold and we would like fresh ones” considering they told us it was not ready which was obviously not true. They then had us wait for new ones which was fine and we waited right here in the lobby where they could see us. 30 minutes passed, my boyfriend goes up to ask how much longer and she says “its ready and had been sitting up here”. Why didn’t she tell us it was ready? She said absolutely nothing to us. So we waited all that time for no food still and then had to wait again for another fresh batch. They never apologized or did anything to try and fix the situation. We were met with an attitude over and over. I will never be coming back here. It’s really sad because I enjoy their biryani.
Also I would like to add there was a good amount of doordash customers in the lobby at the same time. There were a few that asked about the orders they were waiting for and they were also met with an attitude by the women working upfront so this was not just a situation towards me. They were rude to a good handful of people that I witnessed.
After reading reviews from others, I can see that the front staff have been rude on numerous occasions. This is clearly a pattern with them and I suggest to management that you sit down with staff and remind them what good customer...
Read moreI have been to Manam for dinner a few times before but today was the first time we went on a weekday lunch time. There was noone else in the restaurant for dine in. I had a mysore masala dosa, gobi manchurian. The sambhar and the coconut chutney did taste a bit off but I ate anyway only to end up with severe upset stomach. Never going or ordering again!! 😡😡😡 I am yet to find a good south Indian restaurant in this area that do not serve stale food on weekdays especially during lunch hour. Very very disappointing.
We ordered food for an event and Manam staff delivered everything they promised, and the guests were incredibly happy with all aspects of this catered food.
We started off with ginger tea. The tea was picked up at 2:30 pm, we had the tea between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm, surprisingly there was tea left over and few guests tried the tea at 10:30 pm and it was still hot. Great tea provided in a superior quality insulated container.
Appetizers included idli, medhu vada, baby corns and paneer chili. These apps were enjoyed by all, my daughters were happy that there was some baby corn salt and pepper left in the tray, so they could eat more the next day.
For the dinner the vegetarian options chana masala and paneer tikka masala was enjoyed by all, the quantity was enough for all. We also had Manam goat curry and Kothamali chicken curry. Veg hakka noodles, pulao rice, naan provided the necessary carbs. The food was very tasty, and several guests stopped by to complement us for selecting Manam as the caterer and for selecting the best items possible.
All food was delivered on time and in a hot insulated case, so the food tasted like it came out of the kitchen, even when it was served a few hours later.
Right from the start, the experience was good, we liked how all the staff members were available to answer our questions and help us finalize the food items for the event. I think all our future events will have food from this place. Special call out to Priya and Ganesh for going the extra distance to make sure we have a...
