Took the family to dinner. Walked in and stood there waiting for someone to tell us how long the wait would be. After about 10 minutes the hostess came took my info, the wait was not long. We got seated in the bar area , our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. While eating our appetizers, I noticed what was going on around the place. Our waitress Mya (not sure how to spell her name) was also the bartender, the bus boy . Witnessed the manager Kyle approach her and start venting to her , she basically told him she did not care she was busy trying to work. Not sure who hired this manager but I would so be looking for a new manager. After his vent session with a busy Mya, he disappeared into the kitchen and did not resurface until we were leaving. My question is..... why is a bartender a waitress and a busboy. Why wasnât the Manager Kyle bussing tables?? Matter of fact, all the waitresses were bussing their own tables including the hostess. Last time I checked, a hostess greets the patron and seats them, a waitress serves your food and drinks and the bartender tends to the patrons seated at the bar. And a busboy clears the tables and if there isnât one that is when the Manager steps in and clears the tables not hide in the kitchen. Time to make some adjustments there. I just hope Mya is getting the pay for a bartender, waitress and busboy. As well as the other waitresses. If not shame on Chiliâs. These waitresses/bartenders are working hard. Hats off to the waitresses and hostess that were working tonight. You are all doing an amazing job. Hopefully you all get a new manager that helps. giving the stars for the service we received from Mya and 1 star for the manager Kyle. Poor...
Read moreThe waitress we had was nice but she was more worried about her friends that were seated behind us. The manager also came through to check on everybody but skipped us for some reason when we were the only people seated with apps but no drinks. My lady had to get up and ask for them. I did not want to be that guy but I do feel that you have to draw a line somewhere. We got the beef queso and the beef was literally what you would find in Chef Boyardee. I had to ask for another lime because the one that came with my corn fell apart when I tried to squeeze it over the corn. We left a pretty good tip to be respectful but this girl does not have the worth ethic necessary for a job like this. My lady saw her playing on her phone multiple times and we could hear and see her focusing more on the table her buddies were seated at. The half and half lemonade/tea I got tasted awful. She at least told me I could switch it out without being charged extra. When my lady confronted her about our drinks, she had been standing there chatting with her friends for 5 minutes. Every time we needed something, that's where she was. She was back and forth between tables and chatting with these two girls sitting at another table. We were mostly satisfied with our food which is what typically matter most but tipping a neglectful server feels almost asinine. That doesn't even include the manager doing sweeps that couldn't even check on the only actual family in there until we were almost done eating. This place used to be awesome but now...
Read moreSat at table 51, had a lovely server. I ordered the triple dipper and come to find out it had a hair in it. Weâre all human, it happens and I was not overly upset about it. I let my server know and she apologized and took my plate and told me they were making a fresh order. The manager delivered the fresh plate and apologized and offered to compensate my meal. I said thank you and itâs no problem and went about my meal. My server then proceeded to apologize again at the end of the meal stating that there are two men who work in the kitchen and they wear caps so she has no idea now it got in there. I said itâs not a problem and I appreciate that they took off my meal. After the exchange I hear the server along with a group of other female servers in their little nook by the kitchen hollering âIT WASNâT ME!!â with dirty looks in my direction and mumbling. It made me feel like they thought I planted the hair myself to get a free meal. If it was my hair that fell in it I would not have said a word. But I have curly blonde hair and what was in my food was straight brown. Also, the meal still showing on the tab so I went ahead and paid it because I didnât want to make a bigger scene. Wonât be visiting chilis for...
