Gilbert's Cafe — Restaurant in Easton

They say they serve Starbucks, but their Starbucks is weird and usually gross. They can’t even serve the drinks right — it always tastes off. The atmosphere is depressing and sterile — there is no personality. The staff are usually stressed (understandable) and sometimes forgetful (I waited five minutes for a lady to grab a water bottle right behind her and then had to ask another employee because she disappeared somewhere. I had already payed and everything. The other employee then questioned if I had actually ordered one and I had to point to their screen which still showed the order. Very unnecessary for a Dasani). I’m just pissed Lafayette College won’t just give us an actual Starbucks and instead claim to serve them. The food is also so gross (like most of the school’s food, and they got rid of anything remotely good about Gilbert’s).

IM BEGGING THE ADMIN TO JUST PLEASE LOBBY FOT A REAL STARBUCKS!! This is just sad. And I know they would profit off of the students (and YES, there are still a ton of students here over the summer, along with the greater community, so Starbucks wouldn’t suddenly go broke each...
