It was a bit sad to know, that so many pigs had to die for this festival. But alot of people did come out to support it and there was a live a band as well. Though I am TNR with aspca. This festival was bitter sweet. And alot of people did attend and enjoyed it. I stayed 10 minutes to take pics and left. As eerie as it was. I still had to share.

Bacon Fest in Easton, PA is an absolute delight for bacon lovers and food enthusiasts alike! This annual event is a true celebration of all things bacon, and it exceeded all of my expectations. Thank you, Bacon Fest, for an unforgettable experience. I’ll be counting down the days until next year’s bacon celebration!

Bacon, lots of dogs and fun folks. Go to bacon fest. Parking was difficult, we paid $20.00 at a local parking garage who donated the money. While it's free to attend bacon fest it's not a cheap day. Wife and I spent about $200. No problems with the spend, it was a fun day.

This is a massive undertaking requiring much organizational skill. Unique food vendors with a large variety. The music is decent, especially The School of Rock. Plenty of trash receptacles and streets are clean, considering the hoards of people, eating. HOWEVER - this was our first & last visit. $20 to park! Skip that, and if you don't mind walking, find street parking. We're in our 70's but noticed this is not kid friendly and would not recommend it to families with small children. One couple was reduced to changing their baby's poopy diaper in the middle of the sidewalk...not only is this dirty and dangerous, it was where people were eating. In the state we live in (no, not NJ), alcohol sales/consumption is restricted to a specific area. Not so here. Food is outrageously expensive ($7+ for a single slice of bacon on a stick), with very little small kids would enjoy. Only hand sanitizer in the port o johns...no hand washing stations. Did not notice adequate hand washing for the food vendors, either.Very few places to sit down. I like dogs, but I personally feel they are out of place at a food festival. Yuck. We will not be back. I'll get some thick sliced bacon at Aldi's for $3.99 # & make BLTs (none...

While it is gratifying to see such a wonderful turnout for an amazing array and variety of goodies in a very neat town; as I said last year...not very family friendly. Consistently extremely high food prices ( a kid would like just a hot dog...for under $7), a place to execute a safe and sanitary diaper change. Port o'johns need WASH STATIONS. I don't feel slimy hand sanitizer good enough when eating food - plus the residue gets on hand held goodies. The one place allowing folks to use indoor bathrooms was allowing women to use the men's room...some men would still like modesty to be acknowledged. We travel nearly 2 1/2 hours one way. We will not be...
