Far, far too expensive. More of the popular candy they sell for 6 dollars per pound. You can visit any store anywhere and only pay half of that per pound. Also, who in their right mind would pay 4 dollars for 1 scoop of ice cream ? You have got to be kidding. The business isn't doing so good and it is because of the rediculouse prices. Good luck with that.. so, your response to the review was that you have been in business for so many years and that you sell the candy at 3 dollars per scoop. But you do in fact sell all of your candy by the pound at the price described in the review. No play on words, just facts, and the facts are consumers can purchase the same bulk candy at any local store for 3 dollars per pound. If, these stores sold by the scoop then it would more than likely, mathematically be around 1 dollar per scoop if we use your ratio. And, should super markets sell ice cream ,,by the scoop, and not the pound then their cost would be around 20 cents per scoop. That 300% cheaper than what you sell your scoop for. No play on words right. Here is to another 18 years good luck, but if you want lots of business drop the prices and no play on words with the consumers as that isn't good for business. Your ice cream selection is amazing. And the community does appreciate your generosity. Keep up the good business. I would like to give thanks to the order of business here currently. So that everyone knows Rodgers candy now accepts bridge card/ ebt. as payment options however this is not intended for the ice cream. Very polite staff and vert...
Read moreIf I could give them more than 5 stars I would. We have been coming here for over 5 years now with our 5 year old since we moved into the area and I won't go anywhere else for candy or ice cream.
They are so friendly and kind, they say hi when anyone walks in and makes everyone feel welcome. Everytime we go in, they always have a smile on their faces and talk about how big our daughter is getting (they've known her since she was a baby) and they take a few minutes to talk to us and catch up on how everyone is doing. They even have my daughter another sucker free of charge when she accidentally dropped it.
There isn't any one thing I would recommend because it's all good. They have pretty much every kind of candy you can think of and if not, always ask. They have so many different flavors of ice cream (we usually go on a Wednesday when it's buy one get one free scoop) and they can do cup or cone, shakes and they even make smoothies. You can even buy it by the pint or the quart if you want to take more home with you. We usually go in for ice cream and walk out with ice cream and candy. Not to mention, it's reasonably priced as well.
They do have a picnic table in the back if you want to sit down and enjoy your treat and they also have parking in the back...
