Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Eatontown

So disappointed.. I ordered a Reese's Dream Concrete, paid $7, I should say wasted $7. What I received was a cup of chocolate custard ice cream w a spoonful of reeces pb cups. It was in a very small cup, its supposed to have fudge, this had no fudge in it at all, when I asked about the fudge, the person said verbatim "oh u wanted the fudge too" I never said not include it, then he literally squirted chocolate syrup on top, handed it back and that was it. I dont know if its lack of training or they just dont care, but I will be going elsewhere from now on and its a shame. I live very close to the Eatontown location. I could see if they were busy but I was literally the only person in there!!! If thats how things are going to be, Im not going to be the only one not returning to that location!

Love the custard! But tonight i was thrown by a few things. First i get a Sunday and right away i notice the young lady picks the sugar wafer with out gloves and ringing costumers up and handling dirty money. Then after she puts my custard in the wafer bowl i notice not much ice cream so i ask if that was a small, to my surprise it was a medium so i ask if she could make that a large. So she walks over and grabs a spoon and begins scooping the whip cream into the trash, banging the spoon on the side of the garbage takes another scoop of whip cream and bangs the spoon so the cream would fall in the trash. Rita's is always great! Staff is very friendly and always make it my way. Meaning they mix the desserts to my liking without saying they can't do that!
