Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Eau Claire

Boy oh boy where do I even begin…I understand it was later in the evening, yet we still had time left open for regular operating hours. We arrived at the establishment in the pickup lane for 15 minutes. Alas, no one was there to greet us. Yet we are very patient and yearning for the food that has always been provided. However, after a long wait for service we had to resort to the lowest form of attention: A honk from thyne car horn. It was a last resort I never thought we would have to go down, yet here we are leaving this review. The employees were lacking all of the physical and mental traits to deal with such a mentally challenging call to arms. We were treated so rudely that I was wondering if we were even at an establishment that is allowed to present themselves as professional and hospitable. Truly left us in shock, we expected nothing but the best from this establishment. When we gave our names and told them we had an order, dread carried over their eyes…never before have I felt like less than an object in a corporate eye. When our order came, we were so excited. Yet when that window opened, boy oh boy you would not believe the situation that follows. They threw our order at us, as if we were nothing but a high school wide receiver. I felt disgusted, hurt, and betrayed by one of my favorite casual dining experiences. See photo for reference. Keith Lee would hate yall. I have seen the videos of chipotle under portioning food. However, that photo that was provided is just insulting. I don’t even know how to display my disappointment anymore, if I could give negative stars I would.

After contacting support, I was bounced between three different agents who kept disconnecting from me. This is disrespectful honestly at this point. I used to come here twice a week before this, and would get larger orders...

So I really like Chipotle. I don't have one close to my house, so when I'm out of town and have a chance to go, I do. Came in today, and it was OK. The food is good. Im picky, so I always ask for plain white rice with no Cilantro. No problem, I am always accommodated. But this location, 6 actual customers here and employees were standing behind the counter. Ready to help customers, no doubt. But the restaurant itself was just dirty and messy. No tables were wiped down after customers, the drink station was a mess, and no ice to be had. I ate in the restaurant and in the 20 or so min there NO ONE did any dinning room or drink station maintenance. Tables were just as messy as when I got there. A woman even came to the counter to let the staff know there was no ice in the drink station. The staff looked at her like she asked for the answer for a complex math problem, then the lone enterprising employee filled the woman's cups with ice from behind the counter. It wasn't until 10 min after asking that someone put ice in the drink machine. There was more than enough time and employees to handle the dining room and the kitchen as there were less than 10 customers in the time I was there. After my trip to Chipolte this time I will be looking for another place to eat out next time...

Ordered to go, small portions, old guacamole (server was fine packing it I even told person to please remove brown top, he scoffed and mouthed w/e worker was rudeand seemed angry), & over priced. Got charged for two meats but had to search for meat, as worker hardly gave any meat at all, chips were barely seasoned if at all, I ordered large chips and queso, yet the person working behind counter tried to only fill container 1/2 full?, I told him to fill it more because I'm paying for the whole container not half. So he barely added a 1/2 spoonful and closed container. The chips were very stale. Worker also took old rice that was discoloring and mixed with fresh made rice so what was suppose to be bits of greens were bits of green and brown. Needless to say, for one burito bowl with chips and queso I was charged $30. It wasn't worth it. I typically like Chipotle but this location is a polite no thank you. I give 2 stars bacause again I typically like Chipotle and get decent food...just not from this location. Very...
