Starbucks — Restaurant in Eau Claire

This location is so infuriating. Every single time I order here there is an issue with the order. I once asked for a new cup because the one I was given was covered in syrup and I got a huge attitude from the employee. Who wants to be touching a sticky cup every time they take a drink? Why is it even a big deal to ask for a new cup, why am I being made the problem? Just give a new cup and move on with your day. I also order a paradise refresher with no ice and about 50% of the time it comes with ice. I love ice and would love to order with ice but the cup comes filled to the brim with ice. Wasn’t Starbucks sued a few years ago for this exact reason? Selling a 20 ounce drink that is half ice is not ethical. I realize this could be a Starbucks policy problem but that’s why I try to circumvent by not ordering ice. If I pay for and order a venti, I want the venti I paid...

I want to compliment the fine staff at this Starbucks. On a Friday evening a few weeks ago, my children and I were about to leave a nearby restaurant on our bikes when my 8-year-old daughter fell, hurting her leg. I was trying to comfort her as she sat on the concrete crying when I noticed a Starbucks employee approaching us from across the parking lot. We weren't even customers, but she had spotted us through the drive-thru window and wanted to help. The employee (whose name, unfortunately, I don't remember) guided us back to the store and offered my daughter some Band-Aids and a cake pop, which rapidly turned her tears to smiles. I had a wonderful experience today at the Starbucks off W Clairemont & Stein in EC. I ordered through the drive-thru, a drink & wrap like I usually do. After I realized I couldn't find my wallet anywhere. I had just gone to the chiropractor nearby, so I was panicking. The only cash I had on hand was 5.00. I told the kind gentleman who waited on me of my dilemma, I told him to cancel the wrap, I will take only the drink, if that's ok. He told me we are all human, your total is $4.21. I was so amazed by the kindness, genuine concern and generosity of this wonderful barista. He didn't have to do that but he did😊 I wish I knew his name, I would like to tell him again how appreciative I am. People like that make the world a...
