2 years ago I went with my service dog and 2 hungry teens. A loud woman in charge told me to keep my dog, (who is always attached to my wheelchair) on the floor. I was seated and told my dog to lie down under the table as she was trained to do. The kids went to buffet and got their plates and I went after. The woman came over and started yelling again that I had to keep my dog on the floor. she blocked my way and I realized It wasn't me, but my dog she didn't want to go with me. I said, "but this is my Service Dog". She said she knew all about the ADA and I had one of the people with me hold my dog's leash so I could go up and get food. The woman who was doing all the yelling posted a staff member to stand behind me and watch us. My dog who is an extension of me and has years of training was confused, but obeyed and stayed down under the table. I felt upset and humiliated. Yesterday I found myself in Eau Claire again with 2 hungry teens. I thought we could go there and give it another try. No one started yelling when I went to the buffet to get my food with my dog attached as always. I got my food and went back to the table. Staff did not say anything but were watching us closely. When I got to table one of my guests said their won ton tasted like rotten cheese, gagged and spit it out on their plate. The other person said his food was cold. I took one bite of an egg roll on my plate and it was cold. I told them I didn't want to take any chances with food poisoning and we were going to leave. At the checkout counter I told the lady that the cheese won tons were bad and the food was cold and we were going to leave. She didn't believe me and insisted I pay for our meal. I didn't argue and paid over $60.00 USD for our meals we couldn't eat. as proof here is a picture of the receipt

The service was top notch! Our waitress had each plate picked up from our table in a timely fashion and replaced our water as needed without request. While most of the food was good, the peanut chicken was the best ! And the boneless ribs were the worst. The egg rolls weren’t crispy and slightly over overdone but with good flavor. There was a unique clear jello of which flavor, we were unsure. Potentially lemon ? Some of the food was also a little cold. Overall the atmosphere was great and I’d come again! For a family of three we spent $44 - two adults and one child . Edit: We asked about the jello and they said it was Lychee ! 🙂

Very good buffet. When we are in the area and in the mood for Chinese, this is the place we go. Nice salad bar with lots of selections. There are many entrees to choose from, and they are always hot and fresh. The cashew chicken was really tasty, along with the broccoli beef. Many other really good options as well. Onlybproblem is getting full too quickly without being able to sample all the offerings. Service was also very attentive and drinks are included in the price of the buffet.

I give Jade Garden on Gateway Drive in Eau Claire a poor rating based on the kind of service I received on different occasions. First off, I became a frequent customer in August, with a total of 22 transactions amounting to over $450. Food was ok, but their made to order was better than the quality and taste of the food that they serve at the restaurant. The first time they delivered wrong items, 2 out of the 2 items on my order were wrong. I called, wondering if my order went to a different client instead. I was offered a credit on one of the items despite telling the lady that a credit wasn't necessary at the time. The second time there was an error, it was a wrong item and no correction was made. The same exact error happened again on the following order. The fourth error was when a free item was missing. I was told pretty much that since I did not get charged for it, I have to drive back to get the free item. After this fourth incident, I started to get interesting treatment from some of the employees - someone from the kitchen or reception area would tell me to check my items before leaving; one time it was even imposed on me. On two occasions, they did not staple the bag until I came in and checked my items - resulting to the food getting cold and reheating it when I got home. I hope that these Jade Garden employees realize that I get it. They have an internal note pertaining to me and it's written all over their faces. Their subtle actions blatantly showed as if I was trying to get food for free. There were two female employees who were pleasant and polite, but most of the ones I've dealt with specially lately gave off a bad impression.

Last night was their most epic service. The food was delivered 40 minutes late (though I've read other reviews stating longer time) and the guy who delivered it demanded for a tip. I told him to wait because I had to go upstairs to get cash. I am not sure if he understood what I said but when I closed the door to prevent the cold air from coming in, he started to mumble, turned the knob and pushed the door open! He was quiet when I came back and handed him $2.00. As I closed the door, he started to mumble again! I could still hear him mumble in his native language when he reached his car. There's a few words I could think of but I would refrain from saying them. I would rather say them to his face in English like what he should have done.

I will never order from Jade Garden again. To future clients, this is what you will likely to experience when they start messing up your orders and you start complaining about them.

And to Jade Garden: Customers expect to get what they order and it is your job to make sure you put the right items in the bag. Telling select customers every time they grab their food to check their pick up items before leaving the restaurant is rude and condescending. There's a valid reason why your restaurant has the lowest customer rating in Eau Claire. And this is also why I give your business a one star rating. It is not my loss that I won't deal with you again. It's...

I was called a lying horrible customer because I wanted to return my order that was wrong! I loved Jade garden when we first started eating there a little over a year ago. Then after a couple of months of getting take out a couple of times a month the food started to go down. I received uncooked chicken once but didn't complain since it was a first time thing. Then I had another experience with my food take 40 mins when it was supposed to take 20, the staff informed me after it came out that they had to remake it and thats why it took so long instead of informing me while i was waiting. Then I always get Chicken lo mein with no onions and a couple times in a row there was onions in it. So i finally called and just submitted my complaint with the manager. He said he put a credit on my account for it and I'm welcome to come in and get the right order anytime. When I tried a couple weeks later there was no credit. Then after some convincing because they got a new computer system and a bunch of stuff was lost that they may have lost my credit they said they would give it to me. Then I when I picked it up I got home and saw it was fried rice instead of lo mein. I called immediately and the Hostess told me thats what I originally said and she wasn't going to do anything about it. Later I called to talk to the supervisor who would not release his title or name to me at first eventually he said he was the owner Jake and he stated there is no credit on my account and they gave me that free food and I'm a lying horrible customer. That his staff was right and that I said fried rice not lo mein. He also said he doesn't care to loose my business my fiance and I give him at least twice a month because once again I'm a lying horrible customer and then he hung up on me. The best part was when I asked him if he cares about upsetting loyal customers by constantly messing up their orders...
