Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Eau Claire

I ate at the Jimmy Johns on N Barstow yesterday and had the worst sandwich I have had in a very long time. I have never had a bad experience at a JJ before, but this was my first time eating at THIS location. I ordered the Italian #9 which is my absolute favorite, the sanwich was soggy, way too much lettuce that was swimming in Mayo, hardly any tomato at all, but the worst was when I got part way through and I bit into a nice stale hard chunk at the end of the sandwich bun. Gross, I spit that out and threw the rest away. They are expensive, and are supposed to be a gourmet sandwich shop using fresh ingredients. When did they start serving stale bread to their customers? It's going to be awhile before I will shake that one off, goodbye for now JJ's and I definitely won't be eating at this...

I called for delivery the guy who answered stated it would be an hour wait as they were backed up with short staff. I figured I'll wait, no big deal I can understand being short staffed. An hour and a half later I called back to see how much longer. As I was leaving work in 40 mins.. The same guy answered and said your up next. We are waiting for our delivery guy to get back. I can cancel the order if you like! Are you kidding me? After I had already waited an hour and a half u want to offer to cancel my order. After you told me I'm up next! Great food, horrible customer service! It took 2 hours to get a sandwich from when I called to when they delivered. I would have left the driver a tip but he didn't even bring it to me dropped it at the front desk and said don't worry about a tip cause it...

Mmm... There's nothing quite like Jimmy John's. In my 15-ish years doing business with them as a brand, I can only remember being disappointed by the quality one time. Ok, so I'm overlooking the fact that when tomatoes are out of season they aren't always the best, cuz you'll have that with any sub shop. It's nature's fault lol. Jimmy John's really does make sound subs FREAKY FAST!
