Very exciting new coffee shop in Eau Claire! Shared space with Bloomer Brewery and serving Bohemian Ovens baked goods, the space is warm, functional, and well lit. It does still feel new and slightly sterile, I am looking forward to how this changes with time. Great place to casually meet friends, read, study, work, or just enjoy the coffee, food, and atmosphere. Easy going, friendly staff. The coffee is fantastic and so far seems consistent! I shared a cappuccino, iced caramel latte, and a couple of kolaches (can never go wrong with any of the kolaches!). Espresso could be stronger for my preference, but solid. Slightly ashy and mellow, not super acidic. The milk tasted properly steamed in the cappuccino and not burnt or over steamed as can be found in many places throughout the area. You won't find any traditional foam art here (if you're into that) as the espresso is pulled with an automated machine. It is made up for with printing on top of the foam which made all of us smile. This machine printing somewhat added to the slight sterile feeling of the place though, but again the traffic coming in and out made the atmosphere feel warm, inviting, and well loved which is impressive for a new business in a new building on a rainy day. The iced caramel latte was fantastic as they use caramel sauce to sweeten it instead of syrup. It was on the sweeter side of life for a traditional latte, but wonderful. I am sure the more mellow espresso played into this. Looking forward to where this shop goes, will be back! If you are looking for good coffee or a downtown business to enjoy some time in, check them out! In full disclosure, I was offered a discount on my order for this review.

Definitely worth stopping by even as a pit stop to and from WI Dells. My husband who is into coffee appreciated their coffee/lattes. My daughter and I aren’t coffee drinkers but their Cherry Chai Iced Tea drink is delicious! The cinnamon roll is large so make sure to share it and their cookie and Phoenix bagel sandwich are really good. Then walk around the river/bridge before you have to get back into your vehicle. It’s inside the tall white/brown brick structure on the very far end and you will not see a sign for it off the main road since it’s a one way direction into the angled parking spots. There are clean community restrooms as you walk straight down through the double doors.

My life was dependent on acquiring a Breve Latte in transit to my office this morning. As I traversed through the borough of Clear Water, the newly illuminated signage of Phoenix Coffee beamed through my windshield. I was drawn into the urban terrain situated beside the serene Eau Claire river. I maundered about until discovering a stone countertop. I was now face to face with a well caffeinated barista, primed to barter. They offered the beverage I was longing for in return for simple currency. I obliged. I departed. The well crafted Breve was consumed as I constructed this review. I was satiated and all was right in the world. Fin.

I hadn't had time to eat before my class at the pablo center, so I told my mom I was going to search google for places to eat before class. She had just driven by this place and I was on the phone with her and she told me about it. First of all, it was very convenient because it was only a 5 minute walk from where I was. I walked in and the place smelled amazing and overall looked cozy(Definitely gonna have to come study there). The workers were really friendly and they had no issues helping me or answering questions, and they delivered their service with smiles. And the food was amazing and it was just what I needed before class. Whoever was working December 4th, 2024 at 11:30 definitely need to be praised for their amazing...

Coffee was mediocre, staff wasn’t very friendly and not welcoming, paid 10$ for a commercial bagel to be warmed with an egg and some nasty avocado spread added that taste like from a factory, its located in the same room as a bar and there’s nothing to see or look at there. Starbucks prices for convenience store quality. I felt like I was in a prison cell environment and couldn’t even finish the drink. Acoustics are annoying with concrete floors high ceilings and bare walls. I’m not sure why there’s so many 5 star reviews on here they must be bought. Food/service/atmosphere is the only thing a coffee shop is known for and this place is dreadful in each. There’s so many coffee shops that are successful but this won’t be...
