Was on a work trip in Eau Claire on 9/25/2024. I wanted some asian food so decided to try Thai Orchid out. I entered and was seated right away. They let me choose where I wanted to sit. Server came out quick with water while I was looking over the menu. I ordered Chicken fried rice and an order of their spicy wings, spice level 3 out of 4(max). Food took about 10 minutes to come out. I tried the chicken first and it was still steaming from being so fresh out the oil. Very juicy and perfectly cooked chicken. Spice level was perfectly spicy for me. Do not try 3 or higher if you can't handle real spicy foods. I could have done 4 as 3 was good enough to slightly burn the tongue and lips. Wings and drums were very good sized. Not your small wings some restaurants have. Tried the fried rice with no Sriracha sauce first. Very tasty and flavorful as well. Had to add Sriracha for some spice to it. Food overall was very good for my 1st visit. Would definitely try again if in town. Service was good enough. Waiter really didn't come around anymore after bringing the food. I didn't need anything other than waiting to pay for my bill and needing a small container to pack what I didn't finish. Worth a try as the menu did have a good...

My wife and i tried out the newly reopened and renamed Thai Orchid. Not a ton has changed since reopening under a new name. More options for pho looks awesome. We still got stuffed silly for $30, so prices aren't that different. The taste of their curry was also pretty much on point, comparatively.

I ordered the red curry, and my wife ordered pinapple curry. Both old favorites. We ordered the vegan option with tofu. Frustratingly, tofu is not listed as a topping option beside the meat options. We got the golden tofu appetizer, and mango rice for desert as well. I'm no expert, but overall it tasted like nothing had changed. I did think that there was a slight metallic taste to the curry, which was outputting, but that might have been soap residue or something.

Service was pretty good, though they did forget to serve rice to both of uadd initially, and we had to remind them we had ordered...

We came with high expectations and hoping for great service but that wasn’t the case. We came in right when they opened with a party of 14 and got seated right away. Being one of the first customers we were hoping to get served first. After an hour they totally missed one of our tables order and they also forgot one of the dishes from a different table. We went up to ask about the status of their order and one of the servers said, “I don’t know”. She didn’t even bother to take the initiative to look for the order. Other customer were getting their food except for our other table. We went back up to speak with a different server and he printed the order but he forgot to hand the cooks the order. He left it on the counter top. We were in disbelief. Roughly, 2 hours spent at a restaurant that should have been an hour. My advice parties with 8+ people, don’t come here. They seem to panic and don’t...

Stopped for lunch. Was impressed by the attentive customer service provided by staff. It was about 12, over the lunch over. Took 40 minutes to get our food, which was fine. Ordered beef nam rok, medium spice. Came out fresh and warm. 5 star for this dish. You can taste the rice powder, red onions, basil and there was a bit of sweetness to it too. The shrimp pad seew was a 4 star. Good but on the sweeter side. The panaang curry was a seafood platter. Thick and creamy. On the sweeter side. Inwould give this dish a 4 star. Our last dish was papaya salad, Lao style with crab paste. Very sour. I didnt lole it much. Would give a 3 star. And my least favorite was the tri color. I didn't taste any coconut. It tasted more like whole milk. Overall, I would visit this place again!8
