Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Eau Claire

We'd spent all afternoon shoveling snow. We headed for pizza hut, the car handling the snow laden roads well. But we got stuck in the deeper snow on the frontage road in front of PH. Got out with help from some great guys. Once inside, the waiter was thrilled we were eating in. He went over the specials, took our orders, and brought us the appetizers well ahead of our entree. He made sure we had everything we wanted and checked back a couple times to see if we wanted anything else. The food was hot and good. The Hut was clean and cozy. After we paid and joked a little about all the snow, we saw another car stuck where we had been. Fortunately, the other driveway was cleared of the 18 inches of snow. Horrible service! We told them we had 7 people and a baby so they sat us on a table for six. We had to ask for an extra chair. The waitress told us right off that they didn't have any BREADSTICKS so we ordered an 8 piece garlic bread which never came. My kids had to ask for placemats and crayons. When she brought our drinks we had to ask for the milk. when our food finally came it was good as always, but we were charged for the breadsticks we never got. When I told them at register he had to ask waitress to double check. The waitress did apologize for not getting our garlic bread and told us it was crazy in kitchen and they thought there was another order of 8 but were not sure where it went. The guy was hard to understand cuz of his voice. But that wasn't even the worst part! They were out of bread sticks! And cheesey bread sticks! And garlic knots! I was disappointed. We were forced to eat garlic bread that wasn't even that good. I've had better garlic bread from my freezer after putting it in the microwave. After our mediocre meal, it took a long time for our waiter to pick up the check. We were ready to leave a pretty good tip, but after waiting for about 20 minutes, we decided against it.
