UPDATE: QDOBA IS JUST A FEW BLOCKS AWAY! They will be getting our business from now on. "Why?", you ask? Simple - Not only is this location an embarrassment to the franchise, but even corporate customer service is a joke.
We tried this location again after the original review (below), just to be fair about a possible "off day", but nothing had improved.
This location failed to answer their phone on multiple attempts, even when I chose the 'order for delivery' option. So no chance to discuss things with a manager without going right to the store.
A complaint on the corporate website, which was difficult to find and submit, returned a generic reply with an offer of a single entree, but required I sign up for their App and rewards program. An email reply to that joke of a response simply said the "This case has been closed".
QDOBA! HERE WE COME!
Original review:
First time using this location, and it was a very unfortunate online ordering experience. I noticed other reviews with similar experiences (i.e. portions being small, orders incorrect, etc). Our burritos and burrito bowls were maybe half the size they have been in the past - to the point that I thought to check the order to make sure we didn't accidentally order half-size. They also went heavy on rice and light on meat, and frankly, the quality and flavor was -just- okay.
If the reviews don't improve, we won't trust them with an online...
Read moreI had a really bad experience today at this location. I ordered a burrito with carne asada and when I asked for extra meat, the older short lady literally put on 4 more pieces of steak which I wasn’t happy with being I’m paying $6.85 extra for it! Next came tomatoes and she put just a dash on there. I asked for some more and she said she wouldn’t be able to roll it with more which was ridiculous because it wasn’t even a big burrito. Next was lettuce and again she just put a small dash. I asked for more and she basically refused to add more which was frustrating. She then proceeded to just fold the burrito over with stuff piling out of it and it was so uncalled for that she even tried giving it to me the way it was. I then asked another employee to wrap it and he couldn’t believe the job she did rolling it. They asked if I wanted it double wrapped and I said no. They then proceeded to double wrap it anyways and I was really upset. I had to go unwrap it myself, took the second tortilla off, got my hands all dirty, and then EASILY single wrapped it and I don’t even work there.. Overall, I don’t think that older short lady should work there with her bad attitude, carelessness, and inability to try and make the customer happy. I will never come here again and I hope someone talks to her. I’ve been coming to Chipotle since day 1 and have never had such bad,...
Read morePoorly Maintained rusty grill, Trash left inside overnight frequently, Juice station not cleaned and reset daily (it just gets turned off at close and on at open, maybe it gets changed if empty), go sit and watch if the red buckets of santizer get changed out per shift much less every hour, Some of the employees will sharpen a blade then go right back to cutting without washing the blade covered in steel grit, Bathrooms don't get cleaned properly (black mold on the taps in the bathroom), They leave the walk-in door propped open frequently enough that the food has trouble maintaining healthy temps. Be mindful of the salt content, an oldschool full bowl is enough sodium a day laborer needs to counteract all the water fighting dehydration. They had rats this past winter, they were addressed appropriately over time, but know for a few weeks there were mad rats at this location. (standard for food service in the area, but when you couple it with all the other poor habits...)
Don't place a catering order in the morning, they just reheat the leftovers and send it out the door.
Don't send your kids to work here, they aren't being taught usefull restaurant skills, they are being used to prop up bubbled stock price. People are desperate for cheap healthy food,...
