I placed an order for creamy mac and cheese on line at 11:20am for a 1:40 pick up time today (Tuesday). My daughter was on a field trip and her school group was stopping at various restaurants in the area for a quick late lunch. I figured they would be swamped so was trying to give them a heads up before Noodles got bombarded. My daughter called to tell me that her order wasn’t ready when she got there (a little later than my request time). No one who ordered ahead (which was most of the group) had food ready. They were coming from St Paul to Eden Prairie so plenty of time to get orders done in my opinion. I ended up calling the store and started the conversation by saying I’m sorry to bother you, I know you are swamped with a large group and then went into telling the lady on the phone about when I placed my order. So was INCREDIBLY rude, interrupting me, telling me they were short staffed and working on orders. She said there was a 40 minute wait time and that they would get to the order when they got to it. I asked what would they be doing if the kids had to leave before they got their food and she said she wasn’t going to do anything and that I would have to contact the GM at a later time. She also told me they don’t get orders until the requested pick up time (which seems completely inefficient to me) and it didn’t matter what time the order was placed. My daughter ended up getting food at 2:29 and luckily bc it was such a huge issue, one of the busses was able to stay for the kids still waiting.49 minutes after my requested pick up time was when she got her basic bowl of Mac and cheese. I was completely floored with how unprofessional and rude the employee was. I work retail and my husband is in restaurants so we have a lot of patience for this industry but this was completely unacceptable. I will not ever give this location my business again as long as it is run in such an inefficient manner and allows employees to act the way they did. In this business, you have situations like that, you deal with difficult clientele. But when you’re efficient and good at your job, you don’t act or react the way this staff did. So...
Read moreI am writing to bring to your attention a very concerning incident that occurred recently when I placed an order through the Noodles and Company App. Despite the App indicating that my order had been delivered, I never received the food.
I immediately contacted the store and had a conversation with the manager, but unfortunately, I was met with a lack of understanding and uncooperative behavior. The manager seemed dismissive and unhelpful, claiming that such incidents are known to happen and that there was nothing that could be done about it.
This response is deeply troubling to me, as a customer who values the service of your establishment. It is unacceptable for delivery individuals to pick up orders and fail to deliver them, especially when it comes to dishonest practices such as theft. I inquired about security measures such as functional cameras and whether reports had been made to the authorities, but the manager's response was disheartening.
In light of the current pandemic situation, where reliance on food delivery services has increased, it is crucial for businesses like Noodles and Company to ensure the safety and integrity of their delivery process. The lack of accountability and apparent indifference displayed by the manager is highly concerning and reflects poorly on the company as a whole.
I urge you to investigate this matter thoroughly and take swift action to address the issue at hand. Customers should feel confident and secure when utilizing your services, and incidents of this nature should not be taken lightly. I trust that Noodles and Company values its customers and is committed to upholding the highest standards of service and...
Read moreThis is a long story so be warned! I went here to order food to-go and after I ordered I noticed that I forgot my wallet in the car. I told the cashier I'll be right back to go get my wallet. To my disappointment, I went back to the restaurant and told the cashier to cancel the order because I lost my wallet. She said "that's ok I'll take care of it". I wasn't sure what she meant but surely enough she told me again that the order was on her, she'll pay for my meal. I said "really?". It was for real. I ordered spaghetti with meatballs and a half order of cheesy bread. I didn't believe it until she packed everything in the to-go bag and gave it to me. She said "I know you. You go here all the time. Enjoy". We both had masks on so I guess she can recognize me. Finally some good news and good people out of this pandemic. Ironically I didn't realize that I had received this free meal after returning from a long day packing boxes of donation items to bring to Goodwill. By the way, the food was good....
